You can run with that excuse. I think players go through high and lows during the season. This is probably a low.
Look for Bonner to lead the team in minutes in the second half. Pop's going to run a the Bonner 4 guard lineup a lot.Only moral victory that I see right now is Splitter has more minutes than Bonner.

I expected a loss sooner rather than later, and wasn't too surprised that the Mavs beat us on Friday. However, I expected the Spurs to bounce back better and more ready to play. They look like crap out there and it's really bad when their bench players are lighting us up. These games remind me of last year's Spurs - and I DON'T like it!!
Pop has a special name for that lineup. It's called the "Take It Up the Ass" lineup on the whiteboard.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Pop tank this game early in the 3rd if we don't get any closer. Sucks, because I hate when he does that.
Manu got toplay with him for a couple of minutes so far. Got good results too. Wish Pop woul dhave stayed with it a bit longer.

Spurs D sucks
The Spurs purposely run undersized guys out there and have a sort of half-assed zone where two players chase the ball around the court. This inevitably makes the defense ridiculously easy to break down and ends up with wide open shooters. Pop seems to think that this somehow scores more points on the other end, and often does when they shoot 60-80 percent from three point range.You dont double down low and leave the three open Pop! I always put that philosophy on the coach not the players. The dumbest thing ever! Even on the video games that gets you beat! Thats why we won so much during our streak! That was our ofensive game plan,now our opponents are copying it and our coaching staff cant recgognize it until game day film but hey Im just an observer not a head coach.
I didn't even expect that, although I hoped it, he looked like he had no energy last game probably more due to psychological reasons rather that BB or physical ones...
He looks tentative as if the game he is playing isn't the only thing he has in mind.
With any luck Spurs lose this by 50 and the humiliation will fuel them towards another 12+ win streak.
Silver lining to that would be Splitter would get in some good time.
