Happy Ending in San Antonio Wal-Mart theft
SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A man was caught on surveillance cameras exiting the Wal-Mart on Vance Jackson Road in San Antonio, Texas, with a package of stolen Spurs merchandise. The theft occurred on Saturday at around 6:15 PM. The items stolen include a Tim Duncan jersey, a Spurs Christmas stocking, among other things. The San Antonio Police department has just arrested a suspect who they say fits their description. Police chief Armando Riviera held a short press conference just minutes ago. "To be honest, this was one of the easiest cases we've ever had. The surveillance tapes showed the suspect leaving the Wal-Mart, and as we looked at the tapes, a feature about the suspect stuck out to us. He had calf tattoos. We used this information and found the suspect within hours. To think, if he had just worn pants instead of shorts, we would have never found him" said Riviera, laughing as he left the podium.
