I don't get all the bravado over the Lakers losing a couple of games in November. For years we have always said that the way teams play after the All Star break is the an indicator of a team's potential. Let's see what they look like after Bynum comes back. In the meantime, 13-4 isn't too shabby.

It's not that they're losing, it's the way they're losing. Getting beat by the Pacers is one thing, getting dominated on BOTH ends of the court is quite another.

All teams drop games, even championship teams, but the Lakers don't seem to know how to play defense for a full 48. Of course, that could be said for many teams, but there doesn't seem to be that desire to dominate that the Lakers had last year. I guess we'll see if it changes. Still a lot of season left to be played.
