He would have had to grown a good 3 inches since the 2008 draft combine. But in fairness, he was only 19 1/2 years old when he was measured. So it's possible he's grown a couple inches.

Told you'll! I mentioned in the Westbrook dunk thread that he looks taller than his listed height. There's no way he's his reported 6'3 listed height. During the Thunder/Spurs game, Parker was standing next to West, and he was easily 3 to 3 1/2 inches taller than Parker whose 6'2. More like 6'5 1/2 with shoes imo.

I think it's just a case of the KG paradox!

No Way. When Kobe guarded him in last years playoffs Kobe looked taller which bothered him a bit. I would say he's 6-3 1/2 6-4

son the NBA, NFL, and MLB have always exaggerated the height and weight of players for decades (more so height). I have a friend who is a trainer for the Saints and he has told me that it is pretty known around professional sports to always measure a player with their cleats on and add an extra inch or two to that height. 6'4 sounds a lot better than 6'1 or 6'2 and most people will never notice.

Don't know if this helps much, but it might...

It's obviously from this past summer so if he's grown since 2008, this is more reflective of his current height. Looks like he might have an inch on Eric Gordon and Billups, who are both supposed to be 6'3 as well. Stephen Curry looks easily a couple inches taller than both Rondo and Rose. Maybe his 6'3 height isn't too exaggerated either. And is Tyson Chandler more like 7'3 than 7'1? Jeebus that cat is long.

    True dat!

But I don't know why they even do it??? I'm guessing for marketing purposes because they are already taller and bigger than the average person. It's like a Viking taking steroids. Why??? You're already strong as it is without.
