this is the same thing i was thinking but on 760 this morning the guy that talks funny was saying that this was disrespectful and how RJ should not have done that. I say it was a great dunk and even better finish with that loser standing there hopefully RJ will continue this throughout the season.

Yeah, as I said in the chat room, this was ALL David Lee's fault. RJ didn't see him and didn't expect someone to be walking around under the hoop.

The way RJ landed on Lee, if anyone should have been pissed off, it should have been RJ. Easy to get injured like that. David Lee was in no danger at all as long as RJ didn't completely land on his neck, which obviously didn't happen. But he was a because he got posterized.

That lob play to RJ has become a terrific weapon for the Spurs usually good for at least a couple of easy buckets every game. Not that big a deal when the Spurs are putting up 145 every night, but it's the sort of play that they can turn to in situations where they need a quick hoop to stop a team's run and quiet or pump up the crowd depending on where they are.

As for the play itself, yeah, Lee's a dumbass all the way around. He walked into a defensive no man's land out there, got dunked on for his troubles and then stood around like a dope afterwards. Props to RJ for not backing down at all but any tough guy points he won were immediately diminished by the shove/hug combination ("shug"?) he hit Lee with.

Yeah, if you're Lee, just be happy that you weren't looking the other way or you might have had something like this:

Nuts on your neck > nuts in your face

    lol Lee

I like the fact that RJ didn't back down.
And McD stepped in to get his back.

It was a great dunk. If Lee had any type of defensive awareness, it wouldn't have happened. Too late for him to get all tough guy, after the fact, when HE was the one walking in the path of a guy trying to land. He wouldn't know this because he's got no hops. Sorry that he felt disrespected, but if Lee had any respect for his teammates, he'd work at being a better defender.

I've never seen a guy appear so gay one second and then incredibly athletic the next.
You must have missed the Summer Olympics with Greg Louganis and Carl Lewis.

There's that donkey reference again. Donkey Lee has a ring to it. Or Hee Haw Lee. Lots of possibilities, nickname wise.
