Seattle ain't getting a team anytime soon. If anything, this team would move to Kansas City where they have an NBA ready arena. Stern ain't letting Seattle get a team until they get a new arena worked out. Kansas City it could be unless Chouest finally takes over the team. Still, a new owner would have to buy out his shares as well as Shinn's shares.
If the Hornets move from New Orleans to Kansas City. It will be a sad sad day in NBA history. If the Hornets were to relocate I would rather them to atleast find a more attractive market then Kansas City.
They should let the female fans flash for beads and show it on the jumbo tron while the on air games are at commercial. I'm sure people would go just for that.
Honestly, NBA teams themselves aren't really attractive. It takes alot of money to run a team, and most franchises that compete lose money. Not many teams have NBA ready arenas. Thats why NOLA got the team in the first place. They had an arena. Same with Jokelahoma City. KC has an arena and Seattle doesn't. Seattle won't get a team until they get an agreement on an arena and that won't happen any time soon. Probably never until the economy picks up.
