Allthough I love World Cups, I started to really hate FIFA more and more over the years so I don't really give a f*ck anymore what they decide for or so called 'vote' for in their little mafia organization.

But, I like to see a WC in that part of the world and I like Qatar's plans. They have some awesome stadium designs. It's a shame the US did not get it, because football is getting more and more popular over there and hosting a world cup would increase that so much more.

Six of the stadiums are in Doha. A City with a land mass(51 square miles) just slight larger than Manhattan island(33.7). This is going to be awesome.

WTF man. Qatar just ruined my plans for 2022 tbqh.

I honestly felt Qatar had no shot, and logically when you add up all the negatives they shouldnt have a shot. Temperatures, poor football tradition, conservative culture, small size, the issue of what happens to the stadiums after, etc...just goes to show people that money really does talk. Sep Blatter probably took the biggest paycheck of his life from them, good retirement plan on his part tbh. Russia is acceptable, although England wouldve been my pick. Honestly the countries with the biggest investments won, thats all it comes down to it. FIFA is about that money. Bull picks imho.

Nothing to get worked up about. To be honest, you aren't guaranteed to even be alive in 2022, no one is. It's 12 years away.

I get Russia... but Qatar? I country that is not fond of drinking? Are they going to publicly stone the Holland Beer Girls when they show up in 2022?

What a ing joke. Russia is the biggest non-football developed country in the world, so I understand wanting to host it there. Football is very undeveloped in the middle east too, but seriously... a country the size of Conneticut? With a population of the size of San Antonio?

But who are we kidding, we know FIFA is not a clean organization.
I think it is safe to say that russia is a footballing nation.

which games? Maybe we were in the same stadium. I saw France-Saudi arabia, Brazil-Chile and France-Brazil.

Russia is a good choice, their national team has potential. As for Quatar, their team is a joke right now, we'll see how it will go.
