Kobe has been saying this for 4 games ...

Look Banzai this team is a bit frustrating because we all KNOW the otential it has, but very few teams have had to muster focus 4 for 4 straight runs to the the Finals in the "modern era" and the teams that have (Lakers and spurs) struggled with maintaining intensity for 82 games ...

MJ took 1.5 years off between 3 peats and they barely squeaked across the finish line the last le ....

We need to learn to chill ...the only reason we started off hot was because Miami had our attention ....but they started to suck and we lost our "target".
Now I think the Celts are the bigger threat because they have a chance at 18 and are the best team in the NBA but Lakers bought the hype and were looking at South Beach ...Lakers need to find a way to get and stay ahead of Boston ... and maybe the Mavs and Spurs by season's end ...buy even if we don't HCA didnt work for the Cavs the past two years and Magic had a better record last year too ...

I agree but Magic and other Lakers nsiders said that Miami was what had our attention ...if it was Celtics we would not of easded off the pedal the past 2 weeks ...

However I am a little concerned that every few games we get out rebounded handly. Our rebounding was pretty bad tonight. But maybe that was because Chandler stayed on the bench most of the night with foul trouble. Still... we could have done better in that area but a great win nonetheless.
