JJ stays... that's Rick's pet
We didn't get that far into it, and I'm terrible at trade hypotheticals, but I'm assuming something like Caron/Haywood/JJ/filler...?
Honestly, I have no idea. Never underestimate the "cash considerations" Cubes is willing to throw out either, though...
probably a butler/roddy based package. I don't see it ever happening
If you get a shot at it, you gotta get it done.
obviously. I just don't see Denver trading him in conference.
Thats the dumbest I have ever heard. The point is HE DOES play for us. That's like saying take Kobe off the Lakers or Duncan off the Spurs and they wouldn't have won the championships they won...
WELL NO !!!
The reality is he plays for the Mavs and they ARE better defensively for it. And the zone defense HAS helped the Mavs this year with and without Chandler in the game for various reasons. Some games we don't need to use it as much as others depending on matchups.
we staaaaaaaaaaacked
I think Melo would screw up the team chemistry and hurt us defensively.
IMHO spurms should be afraid of the Mavs this year....if they get to face again in the first round or second (farthest spurms will make).
The spurms are pretenders and tainted chumps...
Bragging about 4 les when in reality they are only 3 1/2 (*1999 don't count).
Anyways ..Eat it spurm fans the Mavs have your number in the playoffs!!
I saw a while ago that they're the 1st in the league in FG% allowed and 2nd in Points Allowed.
So far, Dallas has been doing really good so far. As much as I hate to say it. But can they make a run in the playoff? No.
If Dallas can continue to play defense like they are now for the rest of the year, they can definitely make some noise in the playoffs. I also agree with BUMP, that there is no team better equipped to handle the Lakers in the West than the Mavs right now.
The only issues I see are the Mavs needing a legit #2 option, and Tyson Chandler's health in the long run. Dude was a great pickup, but is injury prone. If he's healthy come playoff time, I could see the Mavs taking out the Spurs in 6.
The Spurs always struggle with strong defensive teams. Plus without an answer for Dirk, who is 99% gonna have a GREAT game against SA, I can see the Mavs prevailing.
Still a lot of b-ball left to be played, but we should be in for a good season (unless you're a Heat fan)
remember when you told that one Sun fan that Bosh was better than Amare
My posts were actually pretty damn good. You should bump the Tyson Chandler trade thread as well. Spurs fans shtting on Mav fans.
that Bump guy sounds pretty smart. wonder what happened to him
He posts on the username Axe Murderer. IIRC
oh
DPG wrong about dem mavs and lied about dem paypal checks.
I also said defense wasn't their problem. I implied it was good enough. If anything, I was wrong about how good they could jump shoot for prolonged stretches. I also had faith in DIRK when you quit![]()
Nope. You were wrong about Tyson, the Mavs and I outed your troll![]()
suck a #1 seed front runners!!!
That makes no sense. You were more wrong and the sad thing is you are a quitter as well so you couldn't celebrate them winning
It's doubly funny that your only true basketball take turned out horrifically wrongIf you had more good basketball takes to insulate yourself, it wouldn't look as bad, but for now you have one take that was ty

Would Gerald Wallace help them win the same le with even more class
I'm sure the Mavs will change their team motto to: " this cursed ass franchise to "![]()
