He should have gone with the, imho
it's kind of disrespectful that kori won't get a lmao icon without any legs to accurately portray yourself, tbh.
He should have gone with the, imho
Perhaps when she adds one she can supply and "0 for life" icon to accurately portray your team and fanbase too!![]()
Cobbler taking a massive dump all over ST. GOAT.
Nice basketball take DPG! Keep up the good work!
lol ass pains
yall lay off cobbler ...
Dudes in wheel charirs are strong as up top ...
My guess? he would choke most of spurs talk the out, much like a strong MMA ground fighter ....
You wanna go night, night ni$$a?!
I immediately stared laughing...it's so ed up.
we staaaaaaaaaacked
What I don't get is why everyone hates Cobbler. I mean, he is a clearly a classy, funny & dedicated poster.
He knew we couldn't survive without his stupendous basketball insights. So despite being a man of his word, he broke his word (by returning), even though he explicitly said he was leaving.
He is just that kind of a guy. And even though he is routinely getting made fun of, picked on and defiled, he keeps soldiering on to provide his ground breaking takes.
I just wish there was more I could do to be like him.
Well, you could never be like me since that would require more success than you have alloted time to accomplish.
Never broke my word. Said I was leaving yes. Never said forever or gave any sort of time frame. Nice try though.
Made fun of and picked on? Awwww I am so hurt and devestated that you children have nothing better than to resort to wheelchair smack. It's just crumbling my ego and self worth. Whatever shall I do?![]()
Courageous. Even though he is incessantly mocked, he tries to teach.
Open-Minded. He never loses his cool. His only focus is great takes.
Basketball Genius. Gold medal. Nuff said.
Believer. He believes his purpose on ST supersedes the daily mocking.
Leader. He leads us to a place where knowledge of the game reigns supreme.
Exemplary. The class of takes. We only strive to reach his level.
Rings. He has them.
I didn't want to extend the argument, but I guess I will have to..
- First of all, the "swinging arm" motion is overplayed..it happens what, once a game?..the fact that Kobe and Durant have established this "motion" just adds to the phantom fouls they receive..refs now assume that it's always a foul when they try it, and a lot of the time, it isn't..if anybody watched the Lakers vs. Grizzlies game, the first offensive possession for the Lakers was Kobe doing his "swinging arm motion" on Xavier Henry, Henry got 100% ball, yet the ref gave Kobe the instant whistle, just assuming he got fouled, which happens very often..
Nowitzki's height and the way he shoots gives him just as much of an advantage at drawing free throws..I would say defenders are much more likely to hit him on the wrist or the hands in an attempt to contest the shot, since it's so difficult to defend against, from a stylistic standpoint..
- Gobbler's argument about coming off screens is false..Kobe has drawn 0% of his free throw attempts coming off screens this season..
In fact, looking into it, it further proves the difference..
29% of Kobe's offense comes in 1 on 1 situations..he draws fouls on 13% of his iso possessions, most of them jump shots, the highest % of fouls drawn of any of his situational possessions..
Nowitzki only draws 7% of his fouls in iso situations, and spends significantly less time running iso plays for jump shots..
The majority of Nowitzki's FTs actually come in post-up situations..this season, posting up has been Dirk's main offensive weapon..24% of his offense has come in post-ups, and he draws fouls on 14% of them, the 2nd highest amount of any situational possession, other than cutting in the paint..
Both guys have had a similar amount of their offense come from cutting to the basket..Kobe only draws fouls on 8% of his cuts in the paint, while Dirk draws free throws on 17% of his cuts in the paint..
Both guys have had a similar amount of their offense come from offensive rebounds(only 2%), yet Dirk draws free throws on 20% of them in the paint, while Kobe's is 14%..
Looking at the numbers, it's pretty evident that Nowitzki draws a lot more fouls in the paint, which is generally where fouls are drawn, obviously..
- My point wasn't necessarily that you have to compare them in a heads-up argument..it's not as easy to compare them due to the difference in usage..
However, when you look at peak years and compare Kobe to other high-usage players like Lebron and Wade, it's pretty amazing to see how many fouls Kobe draws from jump shots, compared to those guys that have to work primarily in the paint for their free throws..
Kobe is the gold standard for touch fouls and phantom fouls on jump shots..
tl;dr
cliffnotes: we staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacked
I said I wish I could be more like you. I know I could never actually obtain that goal. But, I never knew you were vain. I though you would try and lift me up and not knock me down. I hope this isn't the real you.
I know you aren't hurt or devastated or else you would do something like say you are leaving. But you would never do that.
I never resort to wheel chair smack. I never will.
You are Cobbler.
Keep up the great basketball takes DPG. Impressive to say the least.![]()
Cobbler, the fact you, of all the posters here, respect my takes and blatantly copy my style means more to me than you will ever know.
If the tree of woe was a family tree, the family name would be Cobbler.
You're actually a lot more like him than you realize. While sitting in a wheelchair, you and him are roughly the same height.
The height of his amazing basketball takes soars above us all.
oooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Now that you guys share something in common we should all hold hands and sing koombayah.
ok... and that would be 2 free throws a game which is the difference between the two players.
I always appreciate when HH takes time out of his day to doo-doo on Kobe. It makes me remember why i like him so much, his love for Lebron notwithstanding.
Cobbler lives in the same state as some Grammy Award winners, so he has an award himself. After all, he did buy the cd's so he directly played a role in their success.
