Maybe it's time to make it so that new posters have to have a certain number of replies on other threads before they get to start their own threads.
All of these negative agenda people with 5 posts are idiots or even worse, cloned copies of their already darkside original posters.
The fact that these people are such attention s makes one wonder why their real lives are so pathetic.

Some of the dumbest posters have over 20k posts so I don't think post count is a reliable indicator for anything except for possible lethargy and obesity.
True on the guys with multiple posts. But it forces them to use their REAL iden ies instead of making up some BS cover ID. Consider it a delay tactic on the inevitable.
They will just spam replies in all the threads until they get the minimum requirement... I will say it is getting old for me as well. I come here to read "relevant" Spurs news and information, but half the time I feel like im back in high school with all the smak talking going on.
I don't mind most of it and these guys are practically teetering on the line which I deem offensive.
A few are waaaay over the line. I'm sure "LakerLover" or whatever her name is - is on everyone's mind. Trolls will troll but this troll makes a living out of it and it is sickening to read the les in the NBA forum at times.
So yah, maybe a banning can be over the top but taking away privileges to start a topic is probably just.

It ain't complex at all, it's blatantly obvious. A misguided attempt at misdirection that is laughable at best. I guess I miss the OG ways this board used to be where we can talk HOYA or BAMA but knew that the context was going to be All Spurs and how this team would come to lay wood on enemy opponents.
It's like that still in some sense, but wholly different in others.

The ignore list feature seems like an obvious and easy solution to your emotional distress.
Too obvious and too wide a broom. That's why I feel that if one can't make a thread until they've established an iden y, then we'd get less crap. It's fine if it's a long time poster does it because they are known for what they're know for.
The new guys are more like Drive-by bangers. Here today, unload a clip, assume a new iden y tomorrow...bang, bang, bang.

The Spurs could be up 3-1 on the Lakers in the WCF and we would still have posters here talking about how we're going to fail in games 5, 6, and 7.

This place is certaintly in dire need of a healthy dose of W-Bomb influence of late.

Would be a nice addition if there was a view choice to sort by possible priority, granted by personal rating of a poster or voted rating, where you rate 0 post or certain posters with a negative.
Because in the real world I'd slip them into a third degree armbar and tap them out.
