Dexter Season 5

Hmmm... Assuming the two men and two women involved are Quinn, Robocop, or Chase with Deb and Lumen, this makes me think it might be the end for either Deb or Lumen. None of those guys dying would make me cringe, and I can't think of any other women important enough to this season's storyline that could be in the mix.

Here's what I'm thinking:
The babysitter and Harrison are kidnapped, while Chase is one of the dead.
Perhaps Lumen is the other. The thought bums me out, but they haven't kept a guest star on for more than 1 season. This would be a logical way to end the character.

Also, I read somewhere that MCH signed on for 6 seasons. So, the above happens, and then this would perfectly set up Deb figuring him out, and then the fallout. Season 6 ends, and so does the series.

It seems Deb has to find out. The writers appear to be moving toward that each season a little more. I wonder if they will do it this season or save that for the endof the series. The tension there is so great and I would love to see how the characters handle it.

I figured it would be renewed after reading he was signed on for 6 seasons...but this makes me feel so much more confident.

Wow. This season has been terrific, which is odd because usually shows start waning by this point in their TV lives. I feel like there's no way that Deb doesn't find out about Dexter. Lumen asking why she never made the connection and her being so dead on about the vigilante is what makes me think that.

Next week's episode should be good.

I agree with Trainwreck2100. The writers have had Dexter get lucky enough throughout the first four season. It's time that someone has some sort of advantage on Dexter. I hope that Quinn doesn't just go away.

Dexter has to go through some sort of big turmoil to make this season one of the best of the series.

except that Quinn brought this on himself by bringing Liddy on board and whatnot.
Plus, all the evidence building up on him is overwhelming - The final phone call between the two shortly before he died, the angry voicemail message left about the time of his death, Deb knows Quinn was involved with Liddy, Deb and Laguerta know Quinn was watching Dexter, Liddy had surveillance video in his van, and the blood on Quinn's shoe.
To me, this storyline comes together.

The Lila/Doakes story just made no sense.
