The 100 points allowed doesn't really show how well the Mavs played on D for a lot of the game, and especially in the second half. Mahinmi was a beast. Dirk was typical Dirk. Terry was fantastic. And Barea needs to STOP. SHOOTING. THREES. Barea already pisses me off with how he just assumes that he won't get his shots blocked at the rim 90% of the time. Now he has a second thing to piss me off.

yeah but he needs to mix it up like last year, the games I've seen from the mavs nothing but jump shots..many teams can live with him shooting alot of those a game.

Don't worry about Manu, he is 10x the player Caron is. Plus, a winner and champion.

tbh just got home from the game. haven't checked the box score or anything yet but Haywood was god awful as well as Kidd bricking every ing 3. Dirk was a beast as well as Butler(who has been great the past few games). Terry and Marion had some nice fastbreak and/or defensive plays as well. Mahinmi got to the line a lot and pulled down some nice rebounds.

tbh the microphones on the nets and rims sound nice in person but imo they're more for the TV audience. You'll also hear the occasional " !" being shouted into the mic
