Yep, DD is a sensible Laker fan, or that guy Venti Quattro. Not a huge homer, will defend the Lakers with logic unlike some other Laker fans.

He's cool and all, but he's pretty much a Laker offspring of the MK. DD atleast has his own personality

I would appreciate the job, but I disappear from time to time and that wouldn't equate quality moderation.
Personally, I don't know if I am in agreeance that the NBA Forum is declining. Perhaps the trolling is a bit much, but if you can't handle it then the answer is elementary; don't enter. That's pretty much been said, but I guess in the sake of repe ion, I'll say it again.
Responses like this make trolling all the more worth it.
Not only that, mods will have to be here on 24/7, not many people want to do that. TGM doesn't have much time to post on these boards or does DD. The other reason(why hence I don't like mods) is that people will eventually kiss ass, try to be teacher's pet and tries to get away with stuff. This forum will be just like the other forums in terms of having an enforcer. So this part of the forum would not be any different than other forums.
And I agree, to an extent. The whole "if you don't like it, you don't hafta watch it/listen to it" argument. The problem is a thread that you might want to add to gets elongated to the point of absurdity with random bull . MK started it, and then others picked it up and made it what it is today: gotry.
Why are y'all so eager to get new overlords? I understand the frustration with Lakerfan and all, but it's no different than Hornetfan or Heatfan trolling in the offseason. Basically a fad.
I mean HH and mono are certainly stand up posters here (CYA disclaimer), but Kori and LJ certainly run a fine place here (contemporary overlord ass smooching).

I don't think so. The MODs (self-)nominated have pretty thick in skin. , you can't really handle this place if you don't (sup namlook). Odds are mono and HH would be just as put off by ass-kissery as they would being told to their mothers.
Edit: Plus, you wouldn't hafta linger here. Just maybe clean up some of the nonsense upon arrival.
In the end, nothin's likely to be done/changed, so...
