Not sure, but what is crazy to think about is that we have watched 1000+ games easily.
It doesn't have to be a championship game, or an important one, or even one you may have attended. You could've caught this late on TNT one night. What was your personal favorite game, for whatever reasons?
Mine was regular season of the 1999-2000 season when LA and Portland met late in the year with identical 45-11 records and 10-11 game winning streaks IIRC. Lakers won narrowly in Portland and went on to finish the season 67-15, while Portland spiraled out of control and finished 59-23. Shaq and Kobe led the Lakers with 23 & 22 points respectively. The game lived up to the hype and still sticks in my memory to this day as one of the funnest to watch, despite the low score.

We're getting old.
The Pistons/Spurs game where Robert Horry had that monstrous dunk. I loved that game.
in Feb/Mar of 2007, a regular season Mavs/Suns game that went to double OT. I went to the game and it was probably the most entertaining game/atmosphere I've been to at the AAC, even if the Mavs lost.
Close second would be the regular season opener in 2000 where Najera got his first start ever and all the Mexicans in the crowd cheered for him like he was Jordan.
Another nominee in the favs is Game 4 of the 2000 NBA Finals where Kobe went off at Indiana in OT...was the decisive game in that series
Only a Lakerfan who lives vicariously through his team would think attending a basketball game could possibly be the highlight of a person's life.
It's cliche, but the Memorial Day Miracle game was outstanding. And considering what it eventually led to, it actually ended up MEANING something (for once).
Ones that standout without really thinking are Game 5 in '05 finals, Horry's amazing performance.
Spurs vs. Suns Tim's 3PT shot.
I would have to go outside my own team's games and say that game where Reggie Miller went off on the Knicks in the 1995 EC Semifinals. Down 105-99 and scoring 8 pts in like 9 seconds? That was an incredible feat for a player and I remember just how frantic that game was and how my friends and I would attempt to replay that last few moments on the court.
I'm surprised you didn't pick the McGrady game or the infamous Nick Anderson one. Any game from the 95 WCF too.
Have you watched ESPN's Winning Time on Reggie v. the Knicks? I hate Reggie Miller, but that was a fantastic special.
Tie for me.
Game 5 of the Finals against the Pistons. The Horry dunk was amazing, I still think it was every bit as good a play as the trey he drained.
Game 1 of the Suns Spurs series. Don't need to list the year here. That game was absolutely ridiculous.
Edit: Oh, and the game where we made Kobe cry.![]()

Game 5 vs Pistons
Why?
Because I called how the game would end, 1 day before it was played
Maybe I was lucky, maybe I'm a psychic, but it's true
far and away, Memorial Day Miracle
Yeah, I own the blu-ray and it made the selection for me. That series, in itself, is amazing. The only one I didn't really care for was the Fantasy Sports one, but even that had an interesting story. The Little League one was also a little short on the story. I do plan, however, to purchase the whole set when I get a chance.
lololololol det was a good one.
Houston Rockets vs. Utah Jazz, May 5, 1995
Drexler dropped 41 points and Olajuwon dropped 40 points
...it was one of a game, but just one of many on that championship run.

Regular season game with near front row in Houston when Robinson put up 55 on Hakeem despite the fact Rodman was clowning around that game for the Spurs.
2nd would be a luxury box suite tickets for Jordan vs. Sonics when I lived i Seattle and S. Kemp dominated that game in one of the Sonics losses in a 6 game series.
On the other hand:
I was sitting in the Chicago airport in a crowded sports bar watching Duncan drain a shot over Shaq and the Lakers dream team and ready to get drunk with happiness when Fisher made the controversial 0.4 shot - that was the worst!
I've seen a few, but one that sticks out in my mind Nets vs Pacers, Reggie Miller was playing that was the first time I really go into a game![]()
Game 3 of the 2002 ECF vs the Nets. Celts were down 26 early in the 3rd and rallied back to win. Pierce, Delk, Rodney Rodgers, Walker, Kenny Anderson etc were on the team that year.
Game 4 2008 Finals. That 24 point comeback in LA pretty much wrapped up the series.
