Like dubya and much of the tea baggers, she's an ignorant dumb in way over her head, riding her LCD appeal to American, duped dumb s all the way to the bank.
Hold on to that belief if you want. It just proves anyone can succeed in America.

So why do you lib s want more and more handouts? Must really stick to lack pride.

I can think of multiple examples (both Democrat and Republican) where governors ran for President or Vice President and quit when they got the better job.

And don't EVEN try to tell me that being in politics is some kind of sacred duty and not really a job.

Quiting the governorship when elected to a higher office is different from leaving to go make millions and that should be obvious.

$14 million in the last year.

I love how she pisses the left off to such ridiculous levels. I have never seen this level of obsession before.

It is so funny watching the leftists walk around with their panties all bunched up. I think it helps to make her even more popular, because of the left's reaction to her.

shouldn't that be up to the electorate of alaska, who supports palin more than not? are you equally as appalled that these elected officials, govenors and senators ask for reelection when they know they will run for office(barry, hillary, mccain)? or that they spend most of their time running an election and not working for their present cons uents?

I saw it with Clinton and Obama.

Did they support her quitting on them?

The thrill may be gone. They certainly didn't support her pick for senator.

    fyi

A majority of Alaskans want the GOP's 2008 vice presidential nominee to stay involved in politics, though there's some disagreement as to how, the Dittman Research Group's Alaska Poll found. Of the 53% who think Palin has a political future, 17% said they want her to run for president. Another 36% said she should not run for president, but help other candidates. (Palin will be doing just that March 26 and 27, when she's scheduled to campaign in Arizona for the re-election of Sen. John McCain, her Republican presidential running mate.)

On the other end of the spectrum, 43% of Alaskans responding to the poll said they think Palin should "stay out of politics."

In the cases you are generally referring to, politicians resign from their position to run for a higher office. I think we give them a pass because the opportunities to run for the higher offices are few and far between.
They are also staying in the realm of public service.

Had Palin quit being governor to become VP, it would be acceptable, just like Bush when he left Austin.

Palin quit to herself out in the lower 48.

A case could be made that she is politically more powerful and influential in her current position than she would be as governor of Alaska.

But why confuse your prejudices with facts.

As long as her goal is power and influence and not actual public service, fine.

It's good you made that distinction.

No, I knew that. I'm just glad you didn't try to perpetuate the "serving the people of Alaska better by quitting" angle Palin and Wild Cobra try to sell.
