The ending of Shawshank Redemption gave my the knot in the throat. I turned away so I wouldn't actually cry.

I once cried during a movie I watched over at my then girlfriends house. Can't remember the name of the movie, it's about this guy who was falling for this kind of outcast girl who was dying of cancer. Throughout the whole movie she keeps telling him don't fall for me but in the end he does, and stays with her till the end where she dies. Saddest ever, partly because at the time the girl I watched with had a scare thinking her cancer could have possibly come back. Anyone help me with the name of the movie?
Old Yeller es. Show me a man who doesn't cry during the end scene and I'll show you someone who's not a man.
I'll admit, the ending of Toy Story 3 made the room a bit dusty.
Marley & Me. ing knew it was coming too, but when the kid hugs Marley knowing it's the last time he'll see him, I pretty much lost it.
A League of Their Own has a couple of scenes that get me too.
Definetly Old Yeller. I watched it when I was real young and after the dog got blasted I ran into my moms room crying, "why did they have to shoot the dog... WHY!!"
That, "Where the Red Fern Grows" and "The Plauge Dogs".
I should of taken notice why an animation about dogs "The Plauge Dogs" was in the drama section and was rated PG-13. We all watched it as a family, thinking it was going to be a feel good movie. My mom, 2 brothers, sister, and I were balling at the end and even my dad had shed a tear.
Put that on your netflix cue next time, it's a really good movie. Haven't read the book though.
Yeah, Legends of the Fall, what a great movie. I'm surprised no one's mentioned Forrest Gump - several tear jerking scenes in that one.
I watched Toy Story 1 and 2, WTF happens in Toy Story 3 that makes people cry?
That would be a spoiler.

that cartoon movie with the ing dinosaurs on it.
i was like 6.
, a ton of movies, tbh--maybe not straight up bawling, but tearing up, yes.
--I Am Legend: when Will Smith's character's dog dies and he goes begging the manicans to talk to him
--Forrest Gump: that damn scene with Gump talking to Jenny's grave gets me every time
--The Burning Desire (Movie about the Bonfire tragedy/1999 football game against texas): Hard to watch that without tearing up, whether you're an Aggie or a Longhorn--still tear up whenever I see the video of the LHB's tribute that day
--Saving Private Ryan: , several parts of that movie, but the most memorable for me was when Damon's character was talking about the last time he was together w/ his brothers (I guess 'cause I'm really close w/ my brothers)
--Toy Story 3: yeah, it got me lol
--The Climb: 2002 movie about two mountain climbers. Pretty heavy-handed on the Christianity angle (that was it's target audience anyway), but there's one climactic scene where the two are buddy climbing a mountain and one gets buried in an avalanche. The other guy frantically trying to get him out and realizing the futility of his efforts is a real tear-jerker
Never have seen Old Yeller, but I know it's reputation lol
Probably a ton more that I just can't think of right now, but there's just some scenes that your heart's gotta be made of stone note to be touched by them, IMO.

, I forgot about Saving Private Ryan. A lot of scenes come close but the only scene that could make my lip quiver is the nighttime church scene when they're all joking around and reminiscing and then the medic guy talks about his mom
start at 5:40
I always wanna hug my mom and talk to her after watching it
OT but speaking of Saving Private Ryan, the shots from 9:46 to the end I've always been amazed by. I don't know what it is about it but it's just incredibly powerful
