    Eddy Curry+ Mozgov+ 2014 no.1 pick for Melo.

Melo already come out and said he will only sign extension with the knicks, so denver either trade Melo for a little or lose him for nothing.

I don't think the nuggets pull the trigger unless they get Danilo involved

why would knicks give up chandler who is a 20 ppg guy for melo , when they have all the leverage.

Because like I said, there is certainly a point where getting nothing outweighs the package NY is offering.

Also, DEN has other people bidding for his services and can leverage them against each other, despite what Melo says. Melo want his money and not signing an extension could cost him.

If you're New York, I don't see why you would want to trade. Melo already shows interest in that team and if they wait till next year, they won't have to give any pieces up.

Yeah, would have to include Chandler or Gallinari imo. Probably should add Randolph as well. Would make it easier for Denver to pull the trigger if Randolph actually had been playing well this season.

The general consensus so far from Knicks fans so far, is that they would rather wait until the off-season instead of giving up Will or Gallo, so we'll see..

If I'm NY, why not just wait it out and sign Melo in the offseason? I'd rather have Chandler and Gallo next year with Melo then go without one of them and have Melo a year early.

Money is an issue here, especially with regards to Ill-Will.

Makes sense financially as far as pay-outs for Hornets ...but if attendance is an issue how does a team with no bonafide stars get ANYONE except die-hards like you BR, to show up?

Paul may not be the megastar he once was ...but Id rather watch him than the squad that is left sans Paul ...Chandler is a good player but he is just a beter version of Ariza ...

son I just fixed the trade because I forgot to add David West into the picture. He has already stated that he WILL opt out of his contract so there is no reason not to unload him as well. The Hornets get lower salaries and no long term contract. The attendance is pure with CHRIS PAUL on the team so it obviously doesn't matter who is playing.

True, but season is not even half over they would be losing money hands over fist ...in this scenario ... less attendance, less concessions, less parking and obviously ratings would decline. Im sure tV contracts probably already done but going in to a new year advertisers would not be happy ...
