Why do you keep bringing up 2006? When did I say anything about 2006? If you want to keep it in the here and now, let's do that. Everyone sees the Heat beating up on chump teams, as they should be apt to do. They still don't match up with the big boys in the NBA and don't have the build to do so as presently built. Who gives a where they rate in defensive efficiency at this point in the season? We all seem to recall a LeBron Cavs team from last year that ripped up everyone in the regular season and faltered because they weren't built for playoff-style basketball. Now you add Wade to that - another guy that needs the ball to be effective. How is that going to be any more effective when it matters most?
Ignorance is bliss. Point proven, you haven't seen a game and have no clue what your talking about.

Beloved Mavs might be a paper tiger... I think a lack of reliable 2nd option for Dirk may doom this team despite the improved defense. Its hard to trust Butler/Kidd/Terry in playoff atmosphere.. hopefully French Allah will help offensively though

    but for now, we staaaaaaaaaaaaaacked

Mavs much like the Spurs probably need one more piece to feel really comfortable about their chances, but they are both very very good.

Luckily, each team may have that piece on their bench already.

    Just stating facts.

Mav fan has massive ass leakage because the Heat are winning meaningless games. Boston is better

IMO Spurs main concern is being able to keep the level of play they are playing at now throughout the playoffs and not getting gassed. Mavs just don't have a reliable second option, mainly a slashing guard. I think the Mavs will fix that via trade tbh.

You're right. I didn't have seats to the Mavs-Heat game 2 weeks ago and I don't have League Pass. It's all in my head.

It's obvious you don't watch any other team than your own. Otherwise, you'd know the Heat just streamroll every team they play. They never lose. They dominate the best teams in the NBA as we're seeing on this current winning streak. Try to watch more games.

For the teams with the best records, the Spurs main guys are playing extremely low minutes. I'm not really worried about them maintaining as far as getting gassed, but Spurs have a lot of guys playing well and the defense needs to improve.

They have plenty of weapons though.

They still have to sign some additional players, the next season the Heat should have a more balanced roster which make them a true contender.
So who (PG or C) they want to sign with the MLE fixing their problems there?

Heat are good no one says they werent but they are not great like many predicted before the season and Hollinger's magic computer says they are. right now, Celtics, Spurs and Mavs are playing the best ball in the NBA. I would give Mavs the edge over Spurs, because they have beaten the Spurs already ...Celts look the most scary to me ...

The Heat have made big strides since the Dallas game. No more offense consisting of nothing more than isos, Wade and Bron finally learned to play off each other moving without the ball. However that doesn't mean they're a lock, there's more work to do. The hate for the Heat is amusing.
