It looks like Amare draws some double teams and other players (Fields, Gallanari, Chandler) get open for 3's
Damn, I'm watching it right now and the Knicks look very good. Amare is taking it inside and dominating.

is Laundry Fields another half-breed?
I think so, doesn't look all white or all black to me.
Bill Simmons is running a live chat; the Celtics are going to lose this by 15.![]()
They have no answer for Amare, the Celtics are giving him easy looks and their defenders (Big Baby, KG, and the white guy) wont go defend his midrange jumpers.
Now we have Knicks game threads? Wow, this place is going down in flames...

Amare is actually making this Knicks team better, I don't know if it's his team leadership or whatever, but I never thought I see Chandler and Felton play at this high of a level.
I thought Shawne Williams was in prison?
and LOL @ Gallanari
, if it wasn't for Amare(who is one of my favorite players), this game wouldn't matter much to me. But Amare's domination in the first few minutes deserves a game thread to me.
In all fairness, Amare had been begging on and off to be traded...even while they were winning a fair amount of games. He just knew he wasn't gonna win a championship there and quite frankly only a few teams even have the chance each year, might as well enjoy where you're playing.
Suns had to get rid of him, you can't keep a player that doesn't want to be there for too long. But yes, Turkoglu was a weak trade. He would have fit in with the Suns system of the past, but without Amare, the system fails.... (Nash dribbling around in circles early possession, playing with multiple p'n'r attempts with Amare, drawing double teams, kicking out to wide open 3-point shooters...damn system could not be touched last year in the playoffs by the Spurs, was embarrassing)
Wilson Chandler is quickly developing into a solid ass player...I notice his stats because he's on my fantasy team, and the dude does a little bit of everything...scoring, rebounding, blocks, steals, 3-pointers. Definitely the type of player I want on my team.
Amare is going to be +24 by the time this game ends.
No he didn't, I remember him asking to be traded, but then he shut up leading into the playoffs.
you dumb s
you see amare sucking? Nash made amare

I was thinking that too, when Amare subbed out, the Knicks lost their groove. Once he came back in, it felt like the intensity was back in there again. I don't know, this guy is somehow making this team and franchise look much better before our eyes![]()
It's funny how you're not interpreting what I say correctly.
This was, like I said, earlier in the middle of the season. As I stated, he shut his mouth leading towards the playoffs for obvious reasons: past the trade deadline, might as well shut up and play and not hurt the team.
I don't necessarily think he believed he had a better chance with the Knicks, but my argument is since it is NYC, he'd at least enjoy that change..moving to the bball capital of the world, playing at the garden, hoping other solid free agents join.
LOL then why did he leave all that for the Garden, even after reaching the WCF???
DoK would be creating an "I told you so" thread every time A'm'a'r'e made a bucket.![]()
