Please, fluke win against the crappy Kings. Shows how bad this team really is by allowing the Kings to go up by 20+ points. Monty Williams got lucky that he finally played Thornton, otherwise this team would have gotten blown out. Monty appears to be in over his head. Growing pains will continue.

The Hornets lost several winnable games this season because Thornton didn't getting any minutes. This team was terrible offensively, and the minute Thornton actually gets the ball, he lights the Kings up.

son I think they are a solid 55 win playoff team whenever the effort is there. The problem is that Chris Paul and David West are the leaders of the team. Paul has quit on this team numerous times in the past, but its more noticeable this season. He's not happy and wants to play in a huge market like NYC with Melo and it has been crystal clear that he has not been putting forth his best effort. Even during the 11-1 start of the season he only had a couple of shining moments. David West only plays on one side of the floor. Whenever the rest of the team is watching their leaders slack off, it creates a trickle down effect. Mix that with all of the other bull surrounding this organization right now and you have quite a recipe for disaster.
The bottom line is that neither Chris Paul or David West are good role models or team leaders. I'm not talking about them as individuals, but as basketball players. People will watch Chris Paul and say "well he's not happy there, so despite the fact that he is being paid $15 million this season its ok for him to not give 100% because he's not happy. People will look at David West and say "well its ok for me to not hustle and play strict defense because David West doesn't either".
I agree. They obviously have enough talent with a healthy Paul to win 50 games.
