Dallas has looked real good so I have no problems with him saying that. They play great defense and Dirk is playing on another level right now.

Kenny came back at him pretty good though, said the Lakers will have to contend with the Spurs come Playoffs.
Dallas is the best. Right now. The Sp*rs, however, have championship experience that the Mavs don't. I trust TD, Manu, and TP moreso than _irk, Chandler, Kidd and Jet in a playoff series.
Mavs do have championship experience. Just not championship winning experience.
I'd have to agree right now simply because Dallas has more impressive wins this season
They beat Boston, Miami, Utah, New Orleans (when they were undefeated)at home
San Antonio, Denver, Utah, OKC, and Atlanta on the road. Spurs are playing good but it all depends on Duncan. He has to be their best player if they want to challenge Dallas and LA
kiss of death to be honest as is the inevitable "chuck jumps bandwagon"

I don't know. Last week I would have said definitely but for 4 games in a row they have built huge leads and given them up. They did win 3 of those four but the fact that they were all 17 to 24 point leads and they let teams tie or take the lead concerns me. Especially with them being home games. Signs of more choking to come? I hope not. A cause for concern but plenty of time to get it right. At least we show up for the good teams.
tbh Mavs are a good team but when Dirk is off, they are ed. There is no reliable 2nd scorer.
That is very true. Mavs overall have a super talented team. The thing is, while they are seemingly well balanced on paper (and on the court) they have a bunch of "jack of all trades, master of none" guys.
Spurs know if Tim struggles, Manu or TP can take over. Mavs don't have that guy. But, when Dirk plays well, the are really tough to beat. Which is often.
Mavs are the best team in Texas............................................. .......................... in da regular season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! amirite??!!!!!!

Spurs have a 3 point greater point differential and 2 less losses so it is a argueable point. One win over the Spurs, especially how motivated they were after losing to the Spurs last year to me is not convincing enough IMO and for all the talk of Duncan's age by Charles - Duncan looks tonight to be back in form to previous years. Both are strong teams period.
He was probably drunk as always so who cares...![]()
Who's Dunan?![]()
Which bench player can replicate 14, 10, and 2 in 28 minutes?
Why do you enjoy talking out of your ass so much? Does it tickle your prostate or something? I thought that was Koolaid_Man's job.
After tonight's game, it'll be around 14 and 10. And your ass ain't gonna get off that easy.
Which bench player in the league could step into Duncan's role and replicate that kind of production, as well as play defense that is shown to be 9 points better when he's on the court?
Chuck jumps on band wagons.. he's a piece of
Chuck is a fan of the spurs. But what he said is true as of right now in the season. Dallas has come out with Wins against teams that were pretty hot including against the spurs. Dallas is the only other team in Texas competing with the lakers in the playoffs and pretty much in the western conference. Utah will be interesting to see how they come around with Okur comes back for them. It will be interesting come january where both of these teams stand alongside with the lakers. All I know it's going to be interesting in the playoffs this year.
Notable difference between this years squads and last years squads from Spurs and Dallas.
Spurs - bench that can score and keep out on the floor without the 3 main guys having to take shorter periods of rest. 3pt shooting and overall increase in atheleticism.
Dallas - Better rebounding and increased intensity on defensive end. And with Dirk playing like he is they are a definite contender as long as he continues to produce like he has so far. I've been very surprised on how they improved team defense over one year.
But, in a playoff series between the two teams (Dallas and San Antonio) I'll be leaning more on the spurs winning a best of 7 against Dallas. Only due to last years series. Same teams on paper with a few things added here and there. It's up to Dallas to try take it away from San Antonio.
Chuck is a bandwagoner, no difference here.
