I wouldn't get this trade if gortat,carter and lewis even getting arenas and Blatche wouldn't be no upgrade.

I think they shouldd try to trade with phoenix and try to land richardson,nash maybe even turkoglu or frye with those players

The only reason Washington wants this is for Carter's expiring. With Lewis, there is no incentive for an equally bad contract.

I know, but having Carter and Arenas in the backcourt with moving Gortat or Bass to the starting lineup would greatly improve this team. I just wish Orlando could rip off Washington.

arenas is still young and can ball. carter is old and washed up. nelson will probably never develop into an all star point guard. if nelson can redefine his role into a passing/3pt shooting pg then arenas would fit right in. right now carter sucks in fourth quarter situations but arenas won't be shy.

If its Carter for Arenas straight up the pieces are equal. As Arenas is much better than Carter, but Carter's contract is expiring so Washington can start the JohnWall era fresh.

whoa, the magic had to give up pietrus in these deals. don't know if i like the magic gains anymore. pietrus may not be the smartest bulb but he was a pretty athletic defender and made his 3's.
