Bonner.
lol tumor removed
son there is absolutely no question that Duncan is still a solid player. I have never once doubted that. He plays a solid role in the Spurs success as a role player with limited minutes. There is a reason why Pop pulls him during clutch time.
Duncan was an elite top 5 and top 10 player during his first 10 seasons, but over the last 4 years however he has fallen from that status drastically. Right now just judging by STATS AND FACTS alone, he is the 44th best player in the NBA give or take a few.
Duncan's still the 2nd best C in the league..
lol pulls
Post Tims stats from the past 4 years please. K, thanks.
If stats were the end all, be all:
Dallas would have a championship
Allen Iverson would have a ring.
Lebron James >>>>>>> Kobe Bryant.
...and many more.
Stats are on paper. Winning anything on paper is meaningless.
So based on your argument, and correct me if I'm wrong, that STATS AND FACTS are the truest measure of a players worth?
son that is exactly right!
maybe its my fault for listing NAMES next to those stats? because it wouldn't matter if Duncan was only putting up 3 ppg and 2 rebounds, some would still argue that he is still in the top 10 lol ... people need to wake up and understand that this is not the Tim Duncan from 1997-2007 ... Some fans are clearly having trouble accepting the truth.
son no one is trying to say that Duncan can't have a great game once in a blue moon still ... again however .... he is putting up 13 and 9 this season. those are the facts.
spurs play better teamball than ever before
So you must take Hollinger's as gospel, correct?

Spurs right now are just over a 2 to 1 favorite to win the championship over the Lakers right now, you must agree since this is all stat-based right?
Son, you still didn't answer the question. Do you believe that stats alone are the truest measure of a players worth?
spurs=class
bosh > duncan
thread speaks truth tbh. and that's not forgetting bosh is .
son I already posted them above and he has put up 17 and 10 over the last 4 years ... solid numbers right along with Zach Randolph's stats over the last 4 years of 19 and 11
