If the Spurs don't find a way to buy some stops, they are in trouble. Hoping for the Nuggets to cool off at this point is foolish.

Worst defense by this team all year long. This is getting ugly. Poor rotations and lazy perimeter D. The guys are also not responding well to Denver's physical defense. Matt Bonner has been rendered COMPLETELY useless since Harrington is just running him off the 3 point line.
Bonner pumpfake and dribble-drive is great when you want to run time off the clock to protect a lead. Otherwise, not so much.

JR Smith + Lawson = killa
Moving without the ball seems to be his biggest strength. You have to wonder why other Spurs bigs can't find the open or just dive to the rim on penetration.
What I would like Spurstalk Nation to comment on is how or why Blair is not in the doghouse?
My opinion is that we have no other option to play. Splitter still coming off injury and is a rookie.
Pop woulda thrown poor Malik so far into the doghouse he wouldn't have seen sunlight if he kept playing so many games of bad defense.

Of all the games we have won, the time we were most effective was when TP worked harder on defense and was willing to share the ball more.
JR Smith yet another 3. Now it's just getting crazy, the only way to stop him is for him to not get the ball.
