what is the spurs current record against the true contenders? Orlando, Lakers, Dallas, Boston and Miami? That will be a telling sign. If they end up below .500 against those teams forget about any les.
cause we're playing zone and theyre so wide open

Yeah, what's this "due" concept? You gotta win every game, no wins just "because."
The Magic just beat us every which way tonight. What stuck out for me was the way the Magic defense was able to stymie the Spurs in the first half.
Too many Spurs just standing around.
And the Spurs do?
It was only a matter of time till they got a blowout win. The Spurs being the best team in the NBA, you know the Magics with all their new players, were looking to make a point on National TV. I felt it
They have to give up 123 and lose by more than the Spurs for it to be a blowout loss?
What about Bonner, what can we expect from him, given his previous playoff "performances?"
Good game fellers, don't be too hard on your guys
Hopefully the Magic beat the Celtics on Christmas. Need to get the Celts off our back.
No, but they have to have multiple losses where they were blown out by 10+ and looked terrible.
Why was van Gumby playing his starters late in the 4th up 20 pts? while Spurs starters didn't play in the 4th?
This...
Why didn't you just say that in your last post then? Why do you keep changing the rules? I understand you're emotional right now, but please don't let this ruin your Christmas. God Bless
Why does it matter? Maybe they're working on set plays with new players, maybe they're running up the score...
A loss is a loss.
My point was pretty f*cking consistent.
The Spurs were in that game at the half...and the lakers weren't in that game past the 3rd quarter.
You're also ignoring that the Magic are better than the Bucks.
They were? They were down by 9 and playing from behind the entire time...
The Orlando starters shot 65%!! They had 31 assists as a team to the Spurs 17. If not for the Spurs offensive rebounds, they would have lost by 30- something.
Again, you are missing the point entirely. It is not about the Bucks and Orlando. It is about the type of losses the Spurs have over the past couple years. Lots of blowouts to good and bad teams.
The other contenders don't have that. Spurs got blown out by the Clippers this year also.
Spurs, when they lose, they have really lopsided losses more often than contenders. That is my point.
I don't get it. Losing by 8 is a blowout?
They were down by nine in the 4th quarter to the Nuggets last night managed to win. It's hard to see these things when you're emotional.
Yeah, I thought that game was worse. It was only by 5.
What does coming back to win have to do with the Spurs losing games by a lot?
My point is that when they lose, not when the win, they tend to have terrible losses compared to contenders.
Anyway, this season's Spurs have only been blown out once, just against Orlando. I don't see why we should jump all over this game as some sort of indicator.
i just compared them to another contender that got blown out by the Bucks and had their star player ejected because he didn't feel like playing in a blowout loss anymore.
When the Spurs lose again (IF they ever lose again) and it's a blowout, i'll apologize to you.
