Pretty sad when the Magic go to Brandon Bass instead of Howard as their go to man...
Perkins would have made a huge difference, just for the fact that it would mean Jermaine O'Neal wouldn't have been on the floor..he was a massive liability..he dropped 3 passes, he airballed a jump shot, he can't finish layups, and he was slow on D..
The main difference is that they forced Nate Robinson to make plays, and he had one of the worst games of any player this season..

What up troll....
It's just one game. Those new guys played well against the Spurs. Plus, they will need some time to gel. Offensively, the new guys are clearly upgrades over Carter, etc. They can create their own offense. They will get better.
on the other hand he got 5 blocks and 11 rbds in limited play time. He's dumb as but he does impact the game mightily.
Offensively, Bass >>>> Howard. It's just the opposite for defense. Point taken though.![]()
I agree that they are an upgrade, but only because Turkoglu knows the system well..none of them can create their own offense consistently, though, I completely disagree..
Arenas looks like he's done and he's having trouble fitting in with Nelson, so far..
Maybe your right, but I was thinking Richardson was the biggest acquisition and the Suns made them take Hedo in the process. I think Richardson will be lights out for them offensively while Hedo will allow Nelson and Arenas to focus on scoring instead of running the offense. Time will tell.
Richardson is definitely better than all of those guys and he should be their #2 option, but so far, they've treated him like a spot-up shooter, although it's still early, obviously..I don't think they will be able to run too many plays for him with Turkoglu, Nelson, Arenas and Howard needing the ball, so we'll see..
we shoulda kept Bass, ugh.
as a backup C he didn't suffice, but he's a good backup 4
damn Hedo was +30 in 33 minutes?![]()
