Suck. I had the piece of cliq by moto. The phone sucked ass. It was slow and unresponsive dialed while in my pocket constantly shut off, and had a battery life of say 6 hours. Every droid Phone I have messed with sucked.
So being the techy I am I decided that I would weigh the galaxy vs the iPad. I had some spare cash and decided it was time to buy a tablet. I messed around with the iPad and thought impressive. I'm not to big on the ways apple Nickles and dimes you but I can live with it. So after playing with the pad and ignoring the weird ass pretentious turds at the apple store I made my down to tmobile to try the galaxy.
I wasn't impressed with the smaller size and 499 sticker. I then proceeded to test out the browser and sure enough it was just like using a ty droid phone slow ty and just worthless. I would be pissed if I had bought that instead of this iPad. So yes yours truly bit the bullet and bought and apple product. So far me likes.
Probably because you bought hardware with a processor, didn't know how to set up a screen lock, or how to utilize 'running services'.
Therefore, I agree, the ipad was a good choice. It knows how to do things for you.
On the other hand...
Every droid Phone I have messed with sucked.Then you aren't messing with the right android phones. Or Droid phones as most of the Droid line is awesome.

Having an os that turns off applications or "knows how to do things for you" >>> manually turning off applications and internet(to save power); all day,every day, any day.

as much as i love android phones, i hate motorola with a passion.
i had a crap razr so no motorola for me. Also its no surprise the samsung tablet would suck. They came out with the instinct right after the iphone came out and that was .

They're design and layout of their phones just ruin it for me. Sorry if I offend, not really, but the ancient blackberry isn't something they should be resting their laurels on. I don't think I'd ever own one. Nothing they've ever put out makes me go "pretty cool".
No offense man to each his own. I had the moto cliq and damn that phone was just a piece of crap, it was slow has as and it took motorola over a year to update it to the 2.1 software. Im now running with the mytouch 4g and loving every second of it.
Will someone explain to me why my Evo almost never lags or hiccups throughout the day, no matter what I'm doing on it?
Probably the same reason the iPhone 4 or Galaxy S phones don't either.
