Next time you check your mom's stool, please see if you can find my ring.
Because you have given four instances out of the past 50plus years in the NBA where a team didn't have an outstanding SOS average you have proven that SOS is baloney? Your going to sit here and tell me that it doesn't matter if all your wins are against the pistons and the timberwolves a quarter way through the season and everyone should presume your the team to beat in the west regardless because you won a few t
imes in the past with a semi respectable SOS? It doesn't work like that, full seasons of proof do matter because in the past you have proven that you could beat an elite team soundly, you haven't proven squat this year. We beat Orlando on a back to back after defeating Miami for the 2nd time, you were blown out by them. That says something, and I think the rest of the NBA would agree.
If you want to do the research then go ahead, but I'll bet that most championship teams had a respectable SOS average. Sos is pretty simple logic to follow.

The Magic game didn't prove much else other than the Spurs are horrible on back-to-backs. Deriving much else from that game is stupid.
The Mavs beat the Spurs, sure. But Dirk went 12/14, and Parker and RJ played like absolute trash. RJ missed a lot of open shots. The Mavs proved that they had have an odd set off things to happen in order to win. And I doubt they'll happen again. That game reminded me of the first game of the playoffs last year where Dirk couldn't miss. Like that game, it doesn't represent how things wil go for the Mavs. But continue to hang on the hopes that Dirk will shhot 90%.
I saw lock down defense against the Wizards albeit a poor team indicator, but at least it was there so we shall see against the elite teams soon enough.
Until then the jury is still out
Apparently the team and coaching staff believes it can be done on a consistent basis.
I think I'll place my trust in their judgment until I see otherwise, and especially regardless of idiotic troll assessments!
Did you forget about this game asshat?

Shove your dumbhole stats where the sun don't shine you wannabe mav fan! The spurs are the best team to ever lace up New Balances! And don't you forget to put that in your asscrack and smoke it.
Your turn lil nigglets
segu with another great trolljob
No, because I gave you 4 championship teams from the past 10 years. I didn't have to go back 50 years to find those 4 examples, and I ddn't have to find "good" teams with low SOS averages. I found champions 4 out of 10 times that had really mediocre to poor SOS and won it all. That's a hard pill to swallow, I get it, but hopefully you will learn to deal with losing (being a Mav's fan, you should be used to it by now).
No, once again: The onus of proof is upon you. You made the assertion that SOS indicates the strength of the team. I said it does not. As far as I am concerned, it's pretty much a wash, but you still have an assertion to defend and you're doing a bang up job thus far.Your going to sit here and tell me that it doesn't matter if all your wins are against the pistons and the timberwolves a quarter way through the season and everyone should presume your the team to beat in the west regardless because you won a few t

Show me some half season stats from the past 10 years in terms of SOS and how that team fared from that point forward. Again, it's your baby. You wipe it's ass.It doesn't work like that, full seasons of proof do matter because in the past you have proven that you could beat an elite team soundly, you haven't proven squat this year.
So, we beat you in the 1st round of the playoffs last year. You have lost more games to sub 500 teams than we have this year.We beat Orlando on a back to back after defeating Miami for the 2nd time, you were blown out by them. That says something, and I think the rest of the NBA would agree.
I hear some crying, I smell ... get crackin'.
Sure you want me to go out and do the legwork to disprove your assertion? That's what's called a baseless assertion. Support it or shut the up.

You should be worried about tomorrow and not me. Lakers lose and GNSF will never leave downstairs.
You guys are assholes. I had a nice brass ring that I paid about 5 bucks for. Last time I saw it, it was disappearing into one of your mom's butts, mouths, or coochies. Now it's gone and no one will help. Go Spurs!
