Gulp.
It looked to me like instead of taking the pass and dribbling in stride to the hoop, he did a stop/hop in order to dunk off of 2 feet. Kind of weird move, in that there was a sudden stoppage of motion, perhaps that's where the damage was done.

RT @bruceallen: CSNNE officially reports via Celtics that it is NOT KG's knee that was injured. It is a calf injury.
I walk around all day and never injured my calf or knee. Pussies.
KG is my favorite non-Spur player, so I absolutely hate hearing about this, but it doesn't really sound like it's that bad..hopefully that will be the case..
However, like I've been saying for months, I would be shocked if the Celtics were healthy in May..
Koriwhat is not amused
Eastern Conference playoffs are gonna be a dogfight. Orl is getting better & will probably pick up another big also. Noah will be back. Celtics if healthy will be tough & Miami playing well. Should be fun to watch this season.
You keep making it sound like health is the only thing that will prevent the Celtics from winning it all.
I hope KG is ok but I am not holding my breath on this one. I got my hopes up in 2009 about KG's return.
Well, they would be the favorites to win it all if they're healthy IMO..
See my screen name.
It is...
If the other teams are healthy, Boston is ed.
wtf is this
everyone talks about kg but when he gets injured you guys suck his
Yeah, hopefully it is his calf and not his knee and he's good to go in a couple weeks.![]()
Good news for Heatfan. Boston is pretty weak without KG. They just got curbstomped by Detroit without him. Rondo still out though so their offense wont be as bad once he's back.
This is why LeBron and Bosh are smart men.
Kevin Garnett pissed away his youth playing for a terrible organization. Even if you are overrated, if you bully your way to play for a legit franchise, like Kobe did when he shafted the Hornets to get to LA, you win rings and your time in the league is well spent.
Imagine if he had been in Boston when he was 25. Could have gone been placed a lot higher in All time Top lists and have more championships... it's just sad because I really like KG's game, even though he has been acting like a dumbass the past 2 or 3 years.
Oh that's right, I remember Duncan getting hurt in Detriot, but this was a separate injury that took place at Dallas where Tim set a screen or something and he came up limping.. Not sure if anyone knows what I'm talking about..
Tried looking for it on youtube but no luck.
lol, a team of KG, PP, and Antoine would equate to at best, losing to LA and SA in June. They'd more than likely lose to Kidd, or the Pistons every year.
Damn, sucks for the C's. Helps the Spurs later next week though on that tough b2b game.
No one likes to see someone get injured. We all talk but at the end of the day we want everyone to stay in good health. Besides, kicking a team when it's down takes the fun out of winning.
(Too bad Tiger Woods still raped even with a bad knee)
idk about that scroh
I think at worst they'd be in the Finals every year and maybe even sneak out a championship over SA or LA one time.
All 3 of those guys in their prime would be sick. Even though Walker fell off extremely quick, he had a really short effective prime where he put up 22 and 9 in six year with Boston
Pretty sure I remember reeading a few months back, that Walker shot a career high 43% with Miami in 2006.
And KG's become a lot more clutch with age.
plus, who knows who the Celtics could have recruited? Top teams always attract the best role players.
a prime KG with PP and Antoine woulda been deadly. Prime Garnett was a one man army..... complete game. Defense, rebounding, hustle, offensive scoring, jumpshot, low post...
heck, in 2006, Antoine past his prime was still a huge part of the Heat. he was a double double machine who could hit timely 3's.....
If they added key acquisitions, then maybe. They wouldn't have the size for Duncan or Shaq, though.
