Spurs better watch out. Yeah, the Mavs just got smashed by the Raptors without Dirk, but the Spurs are known to give these easy ones away. Go Spurs Go!

Fairly certain the Spurs will win tonight, but I guess you never know. Still, if you've got some cash, I suggest you take the Spurs and give the 3.5 points. Pretty solid bet. Dirk is the Mavs.

Anyway, good luck to you all. My distaste for the Spurs has greatly lessened since the Heat formed their Super Best Friends coalition.

And ADS, if you're around, cheers bro.
I don't understand. You hate the Spurs less because LeBron & Bosh went to Miami?

I can't speak for anyone else, but for me - YES. I'm now pulling for any one of twenty-nine teams to win the championship. Obviously, I hope the Mavs win it, but if they don't I'll feel better if it goes to any team other than Miami.

It's not even about Lebron and Bosh going there - it's about the ridiculous treatment they're getting from ESPN and other media outlets. IMO, the only thing holding the NBA down is its "front-running" culture.

I would be happy with just a win.

But hearing the Spurs contingent shouting "Go Spurs Go" the last five minutes wouldn't suck.

Manu still can't talk. In fact, sounds worse. Can't breathe. Pop wanted to hold him out vs. Mavs. Manu won't listen.

"It's a good thing I don't have to make the calls," Manu croaked at me before the game. Could be worse. Could have Bill Schoening's job.

I bet on the Spurs tonight, they better win by at least 4..there's no reason not to..

Dirk is more valuable to his team than any other player in the NBA..I'm sure Terry and somebody else will have a good offensive game tonight, but they shouldn't be able to score consistently tonight, even with the Spurs' inconsistent defense..

Ginobili's status is worrying me...add that Dallas lost the last game and is at home, and the odds are even.

Btw hope Orlando doesn't choke and send this thing into OT.

The odds aren't even at all..Nowitzki's +/- is +28 per 100 possessions, which is one of the highest numbers in NBA history..he pretty much means everything to the Mavs..there's a reason they lost their last game, as you pointed out..

If Manu doesn't play, then ya, obviously it's a lot closer..if he doesn't play, I would regret making the bet on the Spurs..

I'm not saying the Spurs can't lose, they obviously can, but if the game even comes down to 1-2 possessions to end the game, it would be a terrible showing from the Spurs, assuming Manu plays..

I can't wait! It's going to be a great game/battle despite Dirk absence...

Whatever the BB level, we'll have to match their energy to get the W tonight!

I'm worried about Manu's health too, he obviously will be weaker than usual, so let's hope Tony is still hot and Timmy wakes up from last game...

    GoSpursGo!!!!!!!!

ps/ Whatever will happen, the only thing I really fear is Pop quitting if the Mavs have a too big lead early in the game...
