Ehhh jaren when he cared played decent defense. But Neal has a pull up shot 15 and in, and jaren didnt have that.
So right now yeah Neal might be better.

I agree! Phil Jackson had the luck to coach Michael Jordan - just about any coach could've won championships with Michael. Pop has had some superstars, but he's built good, solid teams year after year after year - and won championships.
Dude totally! I've been thinking that all year... the same type of situation there... guy just comes out of nowhere and becomes an amazing role player.
Possibly. But I just think head to head Phil Jackson has been better. Pop is damn good but Jackson to me is just a better x's and o's coach.
Yup...don't forget that the Spurs are a small market team. Pop has done more with less than any coach in the NBA, hands down.
Similar skill sets. Neal a better ball handler and overall scorer.
