Typical Spurs fans. Either building up the Mavs, fearing them, or feeling sorry for them. Unbelievable. Mavs fans either downplay the Spurs or pretend not to fear, but they never feel sorry for them.

They bragged when they beat the Spurs in '09, when Duncan was playing on what he termed "half a leg" and Ginobili wasn't playing at all. They've constantly been arrogant for years, despite the fact that they're a joke franchise. And now because their one dimensional, career choke artist for a best player is down a few days, we're supposed to feel sorry for them? Boo-hoo, they're having to deal with a couple of injuries. Try dealing with a couple of seasons worth.

Why would anyone feel sorry for them? Serves those arrogant, ignorant pricks right.
Wow. I don't like them much either, but damn. It doesn't serve them right. Thats bull . It also doesn't help to act like the common Mav troll.

If you don't like the Mavs or their fans, why do you want to act like them? The Spurs are the classiest organization in the league, and their fans are second to none. No need to stoop. You won't win a championship for the Spurs by being a for them.

At the end of the day, it's a game and health is more important than games, unless it's Kobe then all bets are off.

No it eats at me because Dirk and Melo actually might be a dynamic duo since Dirk's pretty unselfish. The Mavs would be smart to finally give Terry the axe, especially if Melo goes to Big D.
Why would they get rid of Terry? He's their force off the bench. Surely you don't think the Mavs want a team without a bench, right?

Melo isn't about to move to Dallas. He wants to be like Wade and Lebron, be in the limelight. He will end up in either NY or NJ. Denver is not going to get him to a ring. Him and Amare though... that could be big. Add Chris Paul and it's huge.

No, it does serve them right. They're the kings (not this season, but years running) of pulling games out of their ass that they don't deserve and their key players always seem to be healthy. On top of that, their players, organization and fans are all arrogant, despite the fact that they've never won a damn thing. This is exactly what they deserve.

When the Spurs were having injury problems, what did they do? They mocked them and called them old and washed up. But now that their career choke artist for a best player is out a few days we're supposed to feel sorry for them and give them the benefit of the doubt?

Their fans (and certain players) do nothing but disrespect the Spurs, which is fine. I just don't get why the vast majority of Spurs fans don't reciprocate that. Particularly with all the ammunition Spurs fans have.

They deserve to have what's happening now rubbed in. Just like Lakers fans.

The Mavs are built to beat SA, probably LA as well. Why tamper with that? Melo brings offense, but Dallas has offense. They need to let chemistry develop, not tamper.

What happened to Butler? I saw a glimpse of it and it looked like his knee cap came off.
Any time a player injures his knee on the way up without twisting it, it's very frequently an ACL tear.

If his knee cap looked unusual, then a patellar tendon rupture is another possibility (recalling Barkley's career ender). I saw the video after I got home from the Spurs game but didn't see the knee cap view.

I love how people think that rooting for a certain team makes someone less of a person. Get the out of here. Like Seinfeld said, we're rooting for laundry. So don't come in here with that bull about Spurs fans being saints because of their rooting interest. That's some ignorant if I've ever read it.

looked like his kneecap was popped out way farther than it should be.

they have no reliable scorer now. their offense looked good w/ dirk and they have won considerable games this season, but w/o dirk they've lost 2 in row now and will continue to lose as long as dirk sits. Butler seemed to have a dislocated kneecap which would normally rule him out for months, so losing him wouldn't cost them big imho.

Let me start off by saying I hate to see players of any team go down with an injury. With that being said, I agree with TD and Chillfactor, had this been Ginobili or Duncan going down, it would have been because they were old and washed up.

Now Mavs fans are going to know what it is like going into a playoff series short-handed... just like the Spurs did in 2009.

Remember KG's injury at Utah? Kind of like that. Butler just went to jump and then he pulled his legs up mid-jump and landed in pain. No contact at all from anyone. Completely freak injury.
    Too bad KG's wasn't a career ender.

Spurs currently leading the Mavericks by more games than they've lost all season. If Boston were to drop one more game, the same would be true for the entire league.

Din hope for any injury to fall on Dallas but not feeling bad about Dallas having all these injuries. This is life, they just have to suck it up and carry on playing until the big guns are back
For the Spurs, it means nothing. Just have to keep winning even if the opponent
are all down and fielding a High School Team.

With or without injuried opponent, Spurs just have to keep the eye on the prize. Drive for 5 is on !

The Lakers didnt feel sorry for the Spurs when Manu was hurt and vice versa with Bynum. Deal with it Dallas!

I hope the Spurs meet the Mavs in the playoffs and grind their championship dreams into fine dust.

Because Spur fans are also sports' fans. I for one would want my team to beat the best at their best and lay claim to that le.
