If you watch ESPN or go to "The heat INDEX" on the their website ...I can see why Lebron has this inflated value of his importance ...

TBH ... he is biggest sports story of the past two years ...

The Beatles' artistry is still going strong 45 years later

(Ask Apple Inc, see the Beatles vids view counts on youtube, etc).

Jesus' legacy is still suckin in the crowds 2000 years later.

LeBron's ballin legacy in 45 years? poof!

How can you compare your team to The Beatles when you can't even sell out games at your own arena?

Mike Miller is in the cover? At the very least Spo deserves to be with the Heatles. God Bless him, he's got it all figured out.

"as popular as the Beatles" is obviously an expression that symbolizes hype and popularity..it doesn't mean Lebron is saying they're just as popular..he's just making the comparison, because the Beatles are arguably the most popular act in music's history(or at least in the past century) and were obviously the most popular of their time, while the Heat are the biggest story and most talked about act in basketball and probably all of sports..they are arguably bigger than the NBA..

Once the Heat win their first 2-3 les, this comparison will seem even more accurate..

    personally no big deal ...
bron should embrace the villain role. Everyone gets on the heat for the bandwagon fans but how many bulls fans sprouted in the 90's?
i also disagree ...he should KEEP talking!
When kobe spits out those boring MJ sounding lines about "execution" and im self-motivated ...how boring is that?
Lebron should talk because we ALL KNOW (even though harlem acts like he is all about the kids) that he is an arrogant and rightfully so. He is the greatest athlete I have ever seen. It's only a matter of time before he starts winning why not be a new-age Bad boys. Beat everyone's ass talk kind of like the Jets are doing but you HAVE to win.

if the heat just win that would be boring ...
Instead of being like the Beatles they should be like old "U" they in miami anyways ... bring out luke, Micheal irvin ...

I might even root for them (not gainst the lakers) sports are bcoming to politically correct. We need someone to root AGAINST not for ..

That is why I dont like Rex Ryan but i think he is good for sports.
