FAST pace set by the Knicks.
Knicks will cool of, and pop will get in that ass.
FAST pace set by the Knicks.
If we could just play a little D we would be up big now.
First to 120 points wins the game although with the way the teams are scoring, first to 140 points wins the game seems more like it.
I think the Spurs play lockdown in the 3rd....then Amare goes on an and-1 parade to give the Knicks the win in the 4th.
It's all RJ's fault tbh, firing up the knicks
Looks like they don't want to play defense cause if they get tired we'll lose to Boston.
This is our first game against these Knicks ... Pop and the players first have to figure it out. Look at the game against OKC ... there the Spurs have figured it out last season how to stop them.
Defense? ooooo? Are you there? You are needed at immediately at Madison Square Garden.
I'm in Ft. Worth - Spurs aren't shown here.![]()
Well I think we all knew it was going to be difficult to stop Amare and Felton. The problem is that Landry Fields, Wilson Chandler and Shawne Williams are ting on the Spurs.
FIFY... I hope.
I have been doing the same... love the Griffin-Gordon-Jordan combo. So much fun to watch, regardless of whether they win or lose.
Well said on Ralph and Mike. You've summed up why I like them perfectly.![]()
The Thunder only scored 2 more points in the entire game.
Unreal.
I expect it will be different, they've consistently played better in the second half. But mother of . SEVENTY-TWO points in the first HALF?!
Didn't the exact same thing happened to the Heat, one of the best D team in the league, against the warriors?
Or was it 72 on 3 quarters?
Yet again, one of those games where the Spurs offense is keeping them in the game.
Yes, they should play better defense than to allow 72 points in a half. But if these types of things are going to happen, it's a damn good thing the Spurs are at least able to put up 69.
1 possession game is a 1 possession game.
If the Spurs stop attacking the basket, the Knicks can blow this game open in a blink of an eye. The Spurs can get easy shots with a few simple passes ... or even just a solid screen.
This may be the rare game that Manu's creativity isn't needed. He, along with everyone else, just needs to keep it simple.
And he actually said their defense was good ... Pop would burn a player making such comments after receiving 69 pts in a half
BTW Props to Tony for keeping attacking the rim despite all the hits and blocks he received, we need that...
OKC was exhausted. Just like the Spurs vs Orlando.
Pop trying to beat D'Antoni with just offense... the ultimate insult really![]()
We all know Stoudemire's disdain for the Spurs... who will ever forget the pushups...
