Mavfan does a good job no doubt, but their team doesn't breed such hatred and jealousy from Spurfan quite like the Lakers do.

The spurfans only retaliate when the Mavfans attack. But they're always butthurt when talking about the Lakers
I hear you ...and TBH i have done that myself, at times so guilty as charged... Again, I a m not the laker fan spokeperson so again only for myself ...I know I do that usually when i am being a sarcastic prick on purpose. Most of the time I use "we" it is just like the examples you mentioned.
But how is that any different than 4 rings>0 ...or the way spur fans mess with Mavs or suns fan about no defense or whatever? It's trash talk. From what I seen on here jokes about handicaps, rapes, pedophilia I do know of that so when i want to piss people off I use the "we" sarcastic condescending card to remind people here of how we run this forum because of "our" back to back les ...
TBH the Laker fanbase is most similar to the yankee fanbase (I know that hurts to write but is true) plenty of bandwagon and diehards that speak about other teams in a condescending manner. the huge difference is the yanks are in the driver seats with their true rivals and have owned them ...Lakers are still chasing Boston in the number of les.
I don't sense any non-gnsf that really hates the laker fans around here.

Smack talk is smack talk, and should be taken with a grain of salt. When someone does use it in smack talk just to get to someone, irritate them, get on their nerves, I understand. It's funny either way. But I do think there are some Laker fans that truly believe they "earned" or helped earn the championships, that because of the Lakers winning, the fans are better than fans of other teams and have the right to talk . I do get a true sense of that sometimes. It's then where it gets pretty comical, if they are really in fact taking themselves seriously.
But again, it's merely perception. Perception is not always reality. Maybe they really do a great job of trolling. Maybe timvp really is lakaluva. Lol. Who knows?
Most Mav Fans are pretty re ed and always begging for the media to acknowledge them as the greatest thing ever after a big regular season win in December.
Actually I take it back, there's 2 groups: The Findog's (levelheaded and reasonable) and then the all around homer dumbasses that aren't funny, witty, or clever.
Most Mavfans here, including me, are just weird exceptions.

A lot of the mav fans on here are pretty entertaining; its easy not to take their schtick too seriously when you see how re ed the people on dallasbasketball.com are. Easily as bad as the Spurs forum can be. Really any website filled with one fanbase usually ends up with a lot of annoying re s. The worst is people who log into to say the same thing on page 5 of a thread that people have been saying for the first 4 pages. Or just regurgitate sports cliches as analysis.
disagree. in 03-07 I knew my team was gonna win it all. They played D the right way.
This year's team, has not convinced me they can contend in the playoffs. Their D is attrocious.
That is the main difference.
I don't know boston fans to be honest. but I can tell you this, if I was a Boston fan, I'd be pretty content on my team. Best D in the league and a stacked roster with champion veterans. They are the favorites as of today.
I can only name like a hand full of spurs fans that do not panic after a loss/es or a couple of missed baskets. I can name even fewer mav fans that don't talk out the ass. As for boston fans...

If the rank & file of the Lakers resented the "we" business I'd immediately cease & desist. But, just as sure as the turnin' of earth I know deep in my heart that Bryant and that rank & file are supportive of the tact.

The only good looking girls in Boston are the racial mixes you see on some of the campuses. And even then, the ratio of hot girls to ugly is much better in the South.

Same with Laker fans. Some Lakerfans, like yourself, brag about the rings. Some think that they actually are a better person because they are a Lakerfan, like Koolaid. Those are the idiots.
Yeah, I don't care about we. When "we" becomes "I" (e.g., lakaluva) it becomes pretty funny though.
