Ok....I just watched the entire season and was ecstatic about the finale....only to be conpletely ahh struck by the last scene.

I did not know what to do. Break the tv or pray for another season....

Is there going to be another season coming?

Hey now,

I never even heard a peep about this show at all, except for advertisements on cable. But when my father watched it, he said its a must-see. I see how I could look like a complete moron asking the orignal question. But, I actually thought he was killed by the wearing the MOG jacket. I watched this series with my wife, and she was bent that Tony was not killed. Rather than trust my own judgement, I listened to hers....got confused....

So, I guess my first instinct was the right one.....

F*** that series was a a good time!

As far as the ending is concerned, there is a reason Tony flashes back to Bobby telling Tony in the boat that "you never hear it coming".

Now go rent The Wire. It has the same great payoff. Along with the sopranos, its one of the greatest TV shows of all time.

I'm glad it ended. It was a perfect way to end, in a bloody war with New York. I love that Soprano never sees it coming. I love that we never know who kills him. It's just like the killings the Henry Hill character is constantly talking about in Goodfellas. I don't think they ever put out a bad episode of the show, and they really didn't have a lot of ways to go after killing off Adriana and Moltisanti.
