Idiot, that is the all-time NBA list, not for PFs.

So you're saying that Malone is great, but Jordan who played in the same era and won 6 rings while Malone choked is overrated? Do you know that Karl Malone's Jazz teams have choked away 7 playoff series in which they had home court advantage (that itself may be a record for a single player)? Yeah, Malone was consistent all right, in curling up like a fetus in the post-season.

It's deeper than you think, my friend. Don a Laker jersey just for one day, preferably Kobe's. It's like putting on a business suit. People will call you Sir, or Mr. The ladies will take an extra long look as you pass them by. People will rush to open doors for you. Sales people in the stores will rush pass others to give you service. If you've ever had a problem catching a cab because you're black, those days are over when you have a Laker jersey on. When we want free tacos, we got free tacos. It's good being on top.

Oh, and thanks for that sig.

    ...lakaluva?....is that you...?...

This guy is a in moron talking about replacing Duncan with Garnett or Elton Brand and the Spurs are still winning les. The Spurs won les mainly because of Duncan's low post game and defense. When he sucked in the defensive attention his shooters benefitted from wide open jumpers and moving the ball around before the defense could recover.

That idiot mentioning Elton Brand is laughable. That midget isn't taking down Shaq and the Lakers in '03 with a rookie Ginobili and 2nd year Tony Parker He isn't even gonna do against the Pistons in '05 even with Ginobili and Parker reaching star status and neither was KG for that matter. KG was just another 7 foot jumpshooter without a post game. When you have perimeter players like Ginobili and Parker you don't need a sissy 7 footer out on the perimeter taking long jumpers pretending he's a in guard You need a PF that's gonna go down on the low block and do work. KG couldn't do that if his life depended on it. That's why his teams never won .

Oh, shut the up. Parker and Manu get theirs regardless of Jim being on the court or not. He needs them more than they need him. KG was a beast on the block in his prime. A better rebounder, a better defender, a better shooter, and a better team player. Duncan is just fortunate he had other leaders on his team for his entire career.

Preach On Award.. Replace Duncan with KG in SA and the Spurs just might have one more les...well maybe not...Kobe would have had something to say about that...

I was watching the guy that lead the league in rebounding 4 straight years. Something Duncan and Dirk couldn't even do once. Nice work for a jump shooting 2 guard. Thanks for proving my point, idiot.

I'm not letting you off that easy. Were you seriously dumb enough to say KG was a beast on the low block? Just admit you said something really stupid and save yourself the time from logging into multiple accounts.

As far as the OP's point goes this should not be a surprise to anyone. Even the Timmy Tots rockin' the Duncan underoos; Tim Duncan was never a dominant anything in this league.

    Dominant scorer? No

    Dominant shot blocker? Never

Dominant rebounder? Good, but never the best

His horrendous free throw shooting is also another sign of how mentally weak the lil guy is. Can't concentrate with the pressure on him when at the charity stripe for a in "FREE - THROW."

Dude is just above mediocre at everything except ballhandling and free throw shooting. How people think he's the best player in the last 13 years is beyond me... A "B" average player, lol

Can't say it's winning championships either because that would "Ring smack."

Lakers win a couple in a row and all the trolls come out from under the rocks. This one particularly screams for attention because of just how dumb the content is. Bravo, sir. Maybe you will suck somebody in with that one.

Absolutely nothing I said was untrue.

Unless you are arguing that Tim was a dominant scorer / shot blocker / free throw shooter?

ty-ass Laker trolls don't even try nowadays.

    Career rebounding:
Per game: TD 11.5, KG 10.8
    Per 36 mins: TD 11.5, KG 10.5
That's right, Duncan pulls down 1 whole rebound per 36 mins.

Duncan also has significantly higher blocks per game.

As for overall defense, it is difficult to quantify statistically. Duncan led one of the best and most consistent defenses in the league for over decade. Basketball reference tracks Defensive rating, which is a measure of points allowed per 100 possessions when a particular player is in. Duncan is #2 all-time on the all-time career Defensive Rating list. Duncan has 13 all-defensive selections to KG's 10.

If you want to belittle Duncan, comparing him defensively vs other PFs is probably not the way to go. The guy tops the charts both in offensive and defensive efficiency by a decent margin compared to Malone/KG/Barkley etc.

As a troll, your best bet is to re-brand him a center and compare him with Jabbar, Olajuwon and Chamberlain. Anything else is too easy to refute.
