I'm going to go out on a limb here and say, I don't believe they're going to find any connection between the ad and this crime. In fact, I'll go further...I'm going to say the assailant is going to be a person that wouldn't have 1) seen the ad or 2) agreed with it's actual premise (the electoral targeting) or the nut job premise manufactured by idiots like you (the actual targeting for assassination).

According to the AP report, an unnamed official said the attack was done with an automatic weapon, so a lot of good gun control laws did there if true.

This was a campaign fundraiser her opponent had during the election. I seriously doubt this is related to today's events, but it does look bad in light of what happened.
