and your point ?
7th and 8th seeds are well below .500. Detroit is sitting at 12-24 and is right in the hunt for that 8th seed! Wow...
and your point ?
In more news, the sun rises in the East today...
Go back to the Club Forum Crickets, we're talking about basketball.
So bad that the Rockets can make the playoffs in the East.
So bad dat celts/mia/chi/orl can beat any team in the west in a 7 game series tbh.
Non-issue.
Only 4-5 teams are legitimate contenders in the entire NBA, anyways.
Wrong sport. Also, a team would have to win 4 games, not just 1. Also Also, a team would not get to play some fluke team from N.O. again![]()
knicks would make the WCF in the west
Really?
you're an idiot
That's the whole reason I've always believed that the NFL is the only professional sport where the team who wins it all is not necessarily the overall BEST team in the league.
The Bestern Conference proving to be more compe ive than the Leastern Conference? Will the surprises ever cease?
It's pretty sad that Eastern conference teams continue not to improve. It's been going on since the early 2000s where there's only a couple really good teams and the rest of the conference is . Some of it is the unwillingness to spend big money. But a big part of it is just that teams are making poor decisions. Certainly there should be 8 teams out of 15 that can be .500 but I guess not. Two seasons ago the Pistons made the playoffs as an 8th seed with a 39-43 record. Looks like the 8th seed will be even worse than that. Pathetic really.
It's the byproduct of a watered down league, exacerbated in the league's sanctioned collusion tactics that put together 'superteams', while leaving others hung out to dry.
We shall see this evening if the Knicks are serious, or, just squattin' in Los Angeles.
+1. The Knicks have looked good at home. A legit road test tonight.
An olive branch from jj?
Buddy boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Knicks have a better record on the road than at home right now...
You know perfectly well what he's pointing out.
