The only thing I know is that the Congresswoman WAS the target. Plain and simple. The plans they found were his plans for assassinating her.
What more explanation is needed? Unless you want to talk in circles.
Was she the target before or after her agenda was released? If senator McCain was doing the same thing instead of her, would they have found plans to kill him instead?
ABC and CBS? How do they compare to conservative talk radio? Conservative talk radio is on day and night with right wing propaganda shows, full of opinions.
ABC and CBS TV has a 30 minute news cast nightly that gives little to no opinions during the 30 minutes. CBS and ABC also have news affiliates that give 5 minute updates on the hour across many radio stations, little to no opinions on those just straight news items.
He went there with the intention to kill the congresswoman then just opened fire on the rest of the people. I'll bet the first shot hit Giffords.

the thing is that regardless of whether this guy even spoke of Palin, much less meet/communicate with Palin once in his life, it can still be true that the political climate she is an important part of fostered that violence.
Everyone seems to overlook the interview where Giffords calls Palin out for exactly this, and she ends up getting shot by a zealot. that is too big a coincidence IMO. does anyone really think better civic culture doesn't help in this kind of situation?
the murderer shot a lot of people yesterday, total disregard for human life. this has been happening more and more in the US, and it has now spilled into politics. its a slippery slope and Palin is sitting on the wrong side in this one.
The reason was partisan political smearing. This act is an embodiment of insanity. And, to top it off, it is starting to appear his motives were fueled by antisemitism and not any political position held by Congresswoman Giffords.
This plot had been baking in that nut jobs head for quite a while...possibly since he met Giffords in 2007.
No more so than you'll find at Rev. Wrights church, the DailyKos, Huffington Post, the New Black Panther rallies, and on and on and on. The exception being, the Tea Party anger is at Democrat policies and, to some extent, Republican policies, the Tea Party believes resulted our current economic state.
Only because the Left is preaching that over and over and over and over ad nauseum. This attack isn't related to the Tea Party; in fact, you can't point to one single act of violence that is precipitated by the Tea Party.
If only you were as vociferous against Muslim extremist violence. Take a peak in many of the Mosques in this country, and around the world. There's some ing violence-fomenting going on there.
