Meh, when I was in college, me and a buddy went out and bought an old NES as well as Mike Tyson's Punchout, RBI Baseball, and Contra. It wasn't long before we beat Contra without the 30 guys code and if I recall, we didn't die once.........so it wasn't that difficult.......then again, we were on performance enhancing video game drugs........lots of weed.

Gunstar Heroes on the Megadrive/Genesis remains unsurpassed to this day in terms of gameplay and fun, out of all platform shooters I've ever seen.

Throws, flying kicks, special attacks, AND all kinds of useful weapons.

It is truly a game of skill - no cheap/unavoidable attacks in the game!

They should have kept the " Rambo on steroids " look

I've never been a Contra fan, but this fails if they didn't bring back the code.

Otherwise, I think it looks great. The animation had to be updated, otherwise, you might as well pull out your old SNES and go to (pixelated) town.

I also agree with scott, though, in that I would hope this is simply a PS store DL and not the usual 60 dollars or so. Nostalgia still has a price ceiling...

Exactly, I hate that anime asian character drawings with streaky hair, skinny as , huge eyes, no muscle what so ever while weilding a 500lb ax or sword.
