When left disagrees with right, it's called reasoned discourse.

The problem is the the mainstream republican party uses this language. WIth President Bush most of the name calling was from the left wing of the left wing but now you have a news organization that does it on a daily basis. you have politicians threatening to secede, making 2nd amendment remedies for the govt now etc...

I have seen people make the argument that hateful/violent/whatever rhetoric on an official level, coming from the party itself, is exclusive to those on the right -- an argument with which I disagree, incidentally -- but that's hardly the same as suggesting that liberal citizens don't start facebook groups and say dumb .
