on a side, USC slaps t.u., then pisses away a great opportunity in Lawrence...damn.
...then stomps on their nuts in overtime, 71-62. another solid win for this bunch. next up, Wagner.

You beat a young team in a new system. Barely at that. Woopty doo.
You are still the biggest loser of an A&M fan here. The other ones are actually logical.
thats a sad mentality. ignoring A&M's situation, what do you expect? every team to play at their highest level each night?
just not possible.
nice start to season for the aggies. still no top tier wins but at least a few decent ones along the way with the wins against temple, washington and arkansas.
Yeah the Aggies look pretty impressive. As does the rest of the Big XII. If not for OU, Tech would've had a legitimate shot at running the table and losing every conference game. Dead serious.
I think Baylor will win the conference this season. They have the talent to win it all too if their guards don't turn it over so much.
I like Pat Knight's personality, but apparently he sucks major ass as a coach.
Funny how they give Leach the boot for something that seems like an every day thing for Bobby K.
I think the Ags get into the NCAA tourney as an 8-10 seed.
Just my opinion, but it seems like he just sucks at motivating players. Far too often, especially on the road, the team just quits when things start spiraling out of control. He takes the "every game is a step in the right direction" approach even after losses, like the home loss against TCU.
The major problem, obviously, is that the team just fails to land any talent. Every year they get a new 6'8 guy who's athletic but can't do anything. I see these guys play at the rec everyday and they even struggle to win games there too. Just sad.
Well, that was needlessly inflammatory![]()
which when Bobby was first hired, I thought he was going to bring in some solid talent. There's no excuse why they can't bring in at least the same level of talent they did during the James ey days.
Anywhere else, Knight and family would be long gone, but apparently being buddy-buddy with Myers goes a long way towards job security.
i clearly said, stomped on their nuts in overtime. the line in overtime was 11-2...it was a stomping.
#18 in the country, not too shabby. didn't like the effort against nichols st, however.
i think mike was talking a little about the hire of Turgeon, back in the day. If the Ags beat mizzou, they might crack the top 10.
Only that 2 pt loss against Temple keeping us out.
We lost to BC, we beat Temple. Mizzou is a huge game at Reed, they'll be out for revenge after last year and the game is nationally televised.
ahh yeah my bad, meant BC. Mizzou should be a lot closer than tonight's game.
better watch out for UT come conference play. one of the hardest non-conference schedules in the league, and after some experience gained by the young team, they'll be hard to take down.
We'll probably end up splitting with them like we always do.
This team's lack of consistent offensive production and a true go to scorer will eventually catch up to them, but their defense will keep them in most games. Turgeon has really done a great job so far.
