Not to get into a pissing match, but...when was the last time Duncan grab 15 rebounds in the finals. Let me guess either 1.) he never did it or 2.) you'll have to go back to the stone age...

Per NBA com in efficiency per 48 minutes Duncan still the more effective player and he has less wear and tear on his knees this year that the gunner that is Bryant and is remarkably close to him in overall efficiency rating. not saying that right now Duncan is the better player but the margin is not vast = Bring it on those that think Duncan is washed up.

IIRC he scored 53 in a game. I think it was against the Mavs. Long time ago though. I think I was still in the military back then.
To answer the OP's question, he had something like 27-28 pts against Denver. And didn't need the free throw line to get there. I think that game was back in December.

Simple, great players get the job done on the biggest stage in basketball. The NBA Finals is the biggest stage in basketball. Not the second round.
If your precious Kobe really was the best player in all of basketball, why does he have 2 losses in the biggest stage of basketball and only 1 Finals MVP in 5 Finals wins?
Tim Duncan has 4 rings, and 3 times he was deemed the best player on the biggest stage in basketball.

2003 Nets - the 4th weakest team in Finals history

is something to pump up furiously as major career accomplishments.
