in 07, the Nugs had won 10 of their last 11 heading into the playoffs, including a 23 point beatdown of the Spurs in San Antonio on the last day of the reg season.
The Spurs ended on a 3 game losing streak and then lost game 1 to the Nuggets.
There was much doom and gloom until the Spurs backdoor swept them.
Next round, the Suns were a higher seed and had the HCA.
The Jazz and Cavs apparently had no business being the next two rounds though.
Was it an easier path than some? Yeah. Was it the easiest path ever? No.
Usually the easiest paths are laid out for the teams with the best record in the NBA so I'm betting there are several other out there that had easier paths......namely the 99-00 Lakers.
justification...check.
Bull . Jazz were 4th seed and had a tough 1st round with Houston. They got lucky in the 2nd and drew the cinderella Warriors. By the time the WCF started the Spurs were rolling. The Jazz didn't stand a chance, but they weren't a bad team.
Didn't say they were a bad team. I said they had no business being in the WCF.
Thanks to the stupid NBA playoff bracket, the two best teams left in the NBA, #2 seed Suns and the #3 seed Spurs, had to play in the semis at the same time the #4 seed Jazz got to play the #8 seed Warriors.
RIF.
They were over their heads, which would've been the case had they played PHX or DAL as well.
CLE has got to be the saddest excuse for a finals team ever...that 2007 pistons team they beat was the equivalent of a sick animal that should've been put down.
Never said otherwise, but the Spurs would've whipped the ass of any team that came out of the east that year so, it hardly matters.
I think the nuggets or lakers would've whipped any of the trash in the east that year too, tbh.
True . . . but they would've had to get out of the 1st round to do it.
Yeah, we were staaaacked that year with Luke Walton, Kwame Brown, and Smush Parker in the starting line-up...biggest chokejob ever, imo.
Btw, Tom Waits inducted into the R&R HOF![]()
every once in a while they get it right.
Now, you're the one that's confused. Farmar was the starter in the Phoenix series, along with Odom... Bynum was coming off the bench.
Where is the No option.
Check the join date. Dude most likely never watched an entire Lakers game once between July 2004 and January 2008.
Huh? What about these guys?
I can't even imagine what Sacramento would have done to them.
At the answer choices being "Yes" and "I think so"....They see me trollin', they hatin'.....
lol jpg fail
DeadlyDynasty just trolling the fans he's supposed to troll.

Wasn't that pretty much the same Pistons team that anally probed Kobe, Shaq, Karl, Gary and whomever that 5th person was? Yeah I think so... big dog needs the bone, they gave it to all of them. LOL...
No, the '09 Lakers did. You know, the season where anyone with even a modi of a chance of beating them had one of, if not their best player, injured.
People make me laugh with that suspensions doing the series in! They were 2-2, Spurs won the next one handily when Amare came back! Spurs blew that game four when they were up by alot, should have been 3-1 but they blew that damn game 4. Suns were not a lock to win, where do idiots get this from? Nash don't act like you got shot outta a cannon and teammates don't get up! He acted too much and the idiots got onto the floor (Not the Spurs fault with the rules).
Suns had way more injuries than the Spurs that season. Guggs was out, Kidd missed the first two games, and I believe Penny Hardaway was battling an injury as well.
Bull . Refs rigged game 3, Suns won game 4 and would have won Game 5 if not for the suspensions.
