I gave every credit to the Oregon D that I possibly could. But fact is, if you have eyes...Auburn was getting 2nd and 3's, 2nd and 4's, 3rd and 2's, while Oregon was getting 2nd and 9's, 3rd and 7's, all ing game.

it took a last second field goal to beat Oregon. Oregon had enough chances to win the game and did not take advantage. I don't see the superiority of Auburn. Frankly, and it was more than Auburn's defense, the Oregon offense looked rusty.
I'm aware that auburn is a strong running team, hence the short 2nd and 3rd downs.
Perhaps the reason he is leaving is because there is simply nothing left to accomplish as a collegiate football player. He won every single award he possibly could along with the national championship. Nowhere left to go but down.
