Shawn Marion is the last guy who should be talking on that team. The dude has a trash ass game if you ask me. Doesn't have a good shot, doesnt rebound too well, and only throws "flip shots" towards the rim and hopes they go in....weak.

Also, really, take away the 2 to 3 playoff wins in each of the Spurs-Suns series Marion was a part of, and the Suns would have probably won.

I think he's referring to the series of 3s in the 2nd quarter that really opened up the game and put it out of reach. From there, it turned into a blowout.
he was better of saying if dirk played its not a game. its actually more believable than expecting the spurs who live and die by the 3 to miss them all
Also, if Bruce Bowen was still a Spur, Marion would disappear, which would mean the comments wouldn't ever be made, once again providing an example of how irrelevant Marion truly is . . .

He said if you take away the Spurs' 3s he felt they would have won the game. The fact that he only felt that they'd win the game by taking away 18 points from the Spurs, is another matter.

Everyone expected this game to be a blowout.. it was inevitable imo, the threes were coming at any point in any quarter, it was bound to happen..
from the get go, the Mavericks had no chance.
Congrats to the Spurs they have taken care of biz with Dirty out.
But I have a strong feeling it will be alot different later on in the season going into the postseason.
