Its coming to a point that I'm surprised when Dallas wins a game haha wtf? Terry has been looking like a scrub lately & they arent gonna win games if he doesnt score 20-25 with Butler out. Playing Dirk tonight was a desperation move IMO. He's clearly not ready or he would of played in SA yesterday. If they dont find a way to win games with Dirl not at 100% then they gonna drop to 5-6 seed quick.
Dirk might be back, but is the old Mavs team back? That is the bigger question especially the Hornets and the Rockets are catching up to them in the standings.
I will say this. If the Mavs want to seriously contend, they need to get Steph Jackson from the Bobcats before he becomes unavailable.

Mavs will be there when it's all said and done. They may have to make a trade now with Butler down -- I think he's much more important to that team than just his output on the floor -- and who the knows with Roddy, but I seriously doubt they won't pull out of this sooner rather than later.
Honestly, I'd rather them get a 2 or 3 seed. Dallas and LA are the teams that will give the Spurs the most trouble regardless of seeding, I'd just assume only have to play one of them and not have to play Dallas in a 1-8 or 2-7 matchup -- even if I'm pretty confident in the outcome as a Spurs' fan, the rivalry won't allow it to be an easy series . . .

if Dirk isn't receiving multiple trips to the free throw line due to bogus calls then he isn't a threat whatsoever. plain and simple.
