Gregg Popovich on Antonio McDyess:
"That is what he does. It is his job to play smart. He knocks down shots, plays good defense, and rebounds. He is a really solid pro and has been for a long time."

Why does the game in SA start at 8:00, not 7:30?
Sunday games seem to always have strange start times, plus it's on ESPN
I got a bad feeling about this game....they've been in the 120+ scoring lately
we better come to play and play hard swarming D if we wanna win
don't let JR Smith get going either.
Maybe its cause I live here, but I HATE the Thuggets, and thier league leading body art. Stomp the out of these guys!
At halftime.
The way the Nuggets played the last games (although they all were at home) was pretty impressive ... the table is set for a great game on national TV!
Go Spurs Go !!!
Should be a tough one tonight. Denver should get up after dropping their first 2 against us.
Spurs 102
Nugs 99
Nuggets are almost healthy, playing well, and will be looking to avenge two tough losses to the Spurs. Plus Sunday games always seem to throw the game into a funk. Spurs need to be very wary about this matchup.
The Lakers just lost to the Clips which lets me look at the Spurs game a little easier ...
I hope RJ has a "Dunk of the Year" Nominee on J.R. Smith. I know it was Gary Neal that J.R. dunked on, but I haven't seen G Neal dunk too often this year. Someone needs to do something, several things to silence J.R. Smith. HATE that guy.
Nuggets guards and 3PT shooting can really give the Spurs fits. Obviously, Melo is a handful for anyone to guard. Nene, especially when he is allowed to play physical is a really, really tough match up for the Spurs. He is so quick and powerful and they seem to be going to him more often now.
Plenty of stuff to be aware of this game. Spurs have to pound them on the boards, guard the 3PT line and move the ball against the Nuggets undisciplined defense.
Denver has won at SA' court like 3 out of the last 4/5 times. They give us a lot of problems at home.
Birdman & K-Mart are out (I believe), with Bonner out Neal needs to play big minutes and make them count. I expect a nice stat line from our Big 3
Wins against PHO (wtf they suck anyways), MIA (no LBJ), and CLE ( ty, plus only dressed 8 men)
can't say they've impressed me.

Matt Bonner (knee) is out tonight but will be day-to-day after that. #spurs
This game will be a great test for the "improving" defense that we've seen against teams with inefficient offenses.
Knowing the Spurs though, they'll probably be suckered into running and gunning. I hope not.
Close game....it can go either way. But TP will be hero for tonight....Go Spurs Go

Great, I have to hear Doris Burke's butch voice the entire game.
Good --nice to see Doris! Great commentator!
I hear you. Sucks...
